EA on Hayden is open - Az

Hayden and what cross street? I don't see this location on PlugShare or the Electrify America web sites. I'm taking a trip to that area soon, would be great location. Or is this the one way up by Thompson Peak?

Gravity: to Reserve or Not to Reserve?

I hope Lucid starts taking in trades. I would love to trade in my Air for a Gravity. Selling privately is a pain, and trading in saves on sales tax in most states. And Lucid could sell a "factory certified" used Air better than I could.

What does everyone think of one-pedal driving in EVs?

Another subtle thing I love about one-pedal driving. I think it makes me drive "safer" as I tend to get off the throttle sooner, and gently slow to a stop in traffic. This avoids an abrupt slam on the brakes, making it more energy efficient as well as making it less likely the car behind me rear...

What does everyone think of one-pedal driving in EVs?

I love one-pedal driving and the brake regen. I often drive up a mountain road then back down, and I always end up back at the bottom with more miles of range than I had at the top. No ICE car can do that. I'll never buy an ICE car again.

    2023 Software Updates

Installed 2.1.20 today, no problems. Not aware of any change in any feature; perhaps it is subtle or in a feature I'm not using.

    ‘22 New Inventory Deals: $110k GT’s, 0% interest

I sure hope I can buy a Gravity with range comparable to my AGT for roughly that price and terms! Soon!

    ‘22 New Inventory Deals: $110k GT’s, 0% interest

I think if Lucid still has 2022's, they should just advertise them and get them sold as quickly as possible. Get the pain over with. Don't see the point in a "stealth" sale. Best way to protect current owners and encourage new buyers is to clear out the 2022 inventory ASAP. When they are gone...

    ‘22 New Inventory Deals: $110k GT’s, 0% interest

That sounds like an incredible deal. Less than I paid for my used 2022. If I didn't already have an AGT and was sitting on the fence I sure would jump on that deal. Of course, this means my AGT is worth well below $110K now... I never thought the AGT was worth $138K or whatever the new ones...

Motor Trend’s Best Electric Luxury Cars You Can Buy in 2023

Great article. Love the winner. Agree 100% Why on Earth is the Tesla Model 3 on the list? Is there anyone that actually thinks that is a "luxury" car?? Seems miles out of its league on that list...

7 manufacturers to create new charging network

Looks like EA will finally get replaced with something I hope is much better. https://insideevs.com/news/678791/seven-carmakers-launch-new-ev-charging-network-north-america/

Mobile Connector vs Chargepoint or Juicebox or blah!

I have the basic model Grizzl-E, and a Juicebox. Both work perfectly. I don't use, want, or need Wi-Fi app control. The Lucid app is all I need to monitor the charging. I just plug in the Air when it is low when I get home and the next morning (or sooner) it's back at 80% or whatever I set it...

NACS (Tesla adapter) versus CCS Megathread

The conventional wisdom is the Tesla Supercharger network is much more reliable than say EA. But I think much of this has to do with the Tesla network only being used by Tesla cars, and there are only a few models of those. Once any network is used by hundreds of models by dozens of...

NACS (Tesla adapter) versus CCS Megathread

I am hopeful in say 5 years the USA will have universal adoption of the NACS plug and plentiful 1000V 500kw and up chargers. Until then I'll keep charging mostly at home and using EA/CCS when I must! With the 400+ mile real-world range I rarely need to charge away from home. I can wait the 5...

NACS (Tesla adapter) versus CCS Megathread

I hope Lucid decides to switch to NACS for the Gravity. I personally would not buy another EV that uses CCS, as it is clear the standard will be NACS. I have two CCS cars now but don't want a third. Sales may slow if buyers know they are getting a soon to be obsolete charging plug. Maybe Lucid...

NACS (Tesla adapter) versus CCS Megathread

Now that Ford, GM, Rivian, and Volvo are all switching to NACS, and the SAE will take over independent authority of the standard, the battle is over. The USA EV industry is going to NACS. The next question is, will Lucid eventually sell us a NACS to CCS adapter for our existing cars?

Lucid Air Touring cancelled, purchased used GT

I asked for a refund when I cancelled, they just said no, that was not what the contract said, and they are technically right. I had just bought the used one a day before. Possibly my car was further along than yours, maybe they were already ordering parts or whatever. But even buying a used...
