I cannot speak to metal roof. But I’d still have them do it if you can. There were inserts that were corroded out that needed to be replaced so I’d talk to Lucid about installing them.

Glass windshields are expensive to replace on Lucid Airs. The roof window is not cheap either. My experience is Lucid should be the installer. They will warranty the repairs should something be installed improperly or damage occurs during install.

I live in San Diego. I just took mine off. I’ll sell them to you for $200. Local pick up only. And I suggest Lucid service install them.

No extra drag and no noticeable efficiency hit, but I HIGHLY recommend Lucid Service install them.

I had the standard install button and three “are you sure” pop ups. This is the most “are you sure” pop ups I’ve ever had. That’s super random that happened to you. “Are you sure” you or your significant other didn’t go through these steps and send the update down range?

Not that efficiency is my concern, I have a feeling it’s not increased efficiency as much as it is getting back the efficiency lost due to previous updates.

I say charge how you want. Realistically are you asking a question that really doesn’t impact you unless you plan to keep the vehicle until it’s got 120-150k miles on it. And at that point, what’s 10-15% loss on the range of an Air??? Famous words to live by, charge it how you want and drive it...

I started around 240 but couldn’t snap fast enough. Here is 13%. It drops almost as fast as my accelerator at a light! Also I started charging to 100% to see if that made a difference in speed. I had no intention of going all that way.

I have an AT and here is my 20 minute preconditioning speed. It’s possible to see higher if you are low enough and you preconditioning.

I’ve seen this in the service loaners but not in my vehicle.

What’s 2 plus 2 worked for me. Also pause and play music worked too. There is just a long pause between request and action.
