Service picked my car up on a Wednesday and returned it the next Wednesday. Left a loaner for me so no problem. Car returned and all looks good. No further issues to date. Could not have been easier.

They confirm that it could take a while and after a bit a haggling they agreed that someone would drive a loaner up to me and drive mine down to the service center. When fixed - they will drive it back up. I'm ok with that. We will see when it happens

I have a similar issue. The frunk caught on the front trim piece when it opened. broke the clips holding trim in place. I called service and they tell me that I need to bring it in - a three hour drive. I was under the impression that they would send out a mobile repair unit to fix this type...

My White/Tahoe is being delivered to my house today around noon. So excited. Only bummer is that it is supposed to be raining at noon. 5 days shy of two years since I put in my reservation. I hope it will be worth the wait.

No I did not previously have a VIN. Still in the dark.

My White/Tahoe Touring had been "In Production" on the tracker for a couple of weeks. Last night it moved back to "Preparing for Production." Does anyone know what that means. Surely the production line is not moving in reverse.

White / Tahoe here with no VIN assigned. I am third on this tracker list.

You are most likely better of with the Black/Tahoe. My White / Tahoe has no vin, shows in production, no contact from DA. I have pretty much given up on EOY delivery.

Logged in this morning and saw the dashboard for the first time - WOW! Nice to have that information. The status said "Preparing for Production." I logged in just now and status has changed to "IN Production" but I don't see a VIN number. Could I be missing something?

Interesting to note that all cars where VIN has been assigned have the Santa Cruz interior. My confirmation and reservation dates were earlier than either of the White exterior where VINs have been assigned. I ordered Tahoe interior. I wonder how much depends on interior color vs exterior color.

Are you getting the front license plate holder installed? Law says you have to have a front plate. I have gotten a fix-it ticket once to have mine put on an older car. I sure see a lot of cars with out a front plate. Any thoughts?

DA called about a week after. Got all my information and said she would call back when my VIN was availalbe.
