Arizona Registration - Check your Lucid valuation

I took my actual purchase documentation to the AZ DMV and she informed me that only Lucid data is used for their database and it shows my 2022 Lucid Air GT at a base of $154k. She informed me that it would be up to Lucid to inform AZ of the actual base price when I purchased the vehicle since...

    Side Mirror Housing Fatigue Cracking

Mobile Tech, Ryan, spent almost 3 hours on my Air GT but we did not replace the side mirror housing since it appears to be a separation of two sections of PPF. He had a couple of recall repairs and inspections, so a lot of time was spent doing those. One was a borescope inspection around the...

    Side Mirror Housing Fatigue Cracking

Thanks....I still want to have it rewrapped since it is pretty visible now.

    Side Mirror Housing Fatigue Cracking

Took a couple more photos in sunlight. Still unsure of what it is but will have Mobile Tech look at it and also check out a very loud creaking noise when I leaned into my fender and placed hand on frunk lid. Both sound like they are loose when you push against them.

    Side Mirror Housing Fatigue Cracking

Will be checking with Mobile Tech next week but with magnifying glass, it looks like it could be a seam in the PPF. If that is the case, I will return to have the mirrors redone with the seam on the bottom. It is not present on the driver's side mirror housing so that was reason I thought it...

    Side Mirror Housing Fatigue Cracking

On the way to Happy Hour so will do different pictures later. Crack is on the top side of housing. The weld joint is on the side.

    Side Mirror Housing Fatigue Cracking

No, this is on the topside of the housing. The mold line is at the halfway point.

    Side Mirror Housing Fatigue Cracking

I was having my ceramic coating refreshed on my 2022 Lucid Air GT, when my detailer discovered a fatigue fracture in my passenger side mirror housing. It starts at the mirror side and extends to where the housing slopes down to the pointed leading edge of the housing. I notified Customer Care...

    NACS Megathread

Good analysis. I mainly use my home charger, but I will take a free NACS adapter if Lucid offers it in the future. It would allow me more options for fast charging while on road trips. If I opt to purchase the Gravity, I would hope by delivery that the NACS port is standard on it. Of course...

Getting Android Auto into the Lucid

Not wanting to purchase 3rd party item for this premium vehicle. Just spent 2 weeks at the Meritage in Napa. Avis rental Chevrolet Malibu had CarPlay and Android Auto. Hooked spouse's iPhone and my Android up in less than 5 minutes. Used the Android Auto app almost every day and it was great...

    West Palm Beach Gravity Event

When we went to the Casa Grande factory tour, Peter actually had the attendants remove the ropes and let us all get inside the Gravity. He and one of the Lucid employees sat in the frunk with that special adapter piece. Pretty cool. He is a real interesting person and really dedicated to the...

    Mobile Key Insight Comment

I am posting this under General Discussion rather than Mobile Key because it is a pain to admit this. After over a year of ownership, my spouse decided to drive the Lucid more often and asked me to pair her phone with the car. (Here it comes, Bobby!!!!) I have an Android Galaxy S24 and she...

    Turn Radio Off

Same solution I use but WHY in this price point luxury car. Same with lights.... need to be able to turn them off and keep car live...hell, they might bring back great drive-in theaters. That said and done, I do believe Lucid will continue to update the Air until it has all the creature...

    Android Auto Thursday

OK...I know Bobby probably coerced you into an Apple. But realistically, both Android and Apple phones are fantastic.

    Solar for Charging Purposes

I am starting my 5th year with solar and powerwalls. I use EA mainly on trips and charge my spouse's Tesla, my Lucid and our EZGO golf cart regularly at home. I missed out on the benefit of net metering but still only run about $750-800 a year on electricity. We have a 3000SF home with a garage...

Lucid rally and factory tour- AZ Lucid Owners - Jan 27th

Well, in typical Lucid fashion, I also just received an invitation for private showing in Scottsdale of the Gravity. Damn, my ego is definitely "unbruised" Now I have to convince spouse to let me sell Tesla and get her the Gravity.

    Donations to Site

I believe it has been discussed but I cannot find info. I have had enormous support from this website and our members. The moderators are fantastic and "Bobby" (iPhone forever) is beyond real. In a nutshell, I would like to donate to the site for server usage and maintenance. What is the...

All is well...my bruised ego is assuaged. I was informed that they had sent an invite. I did check past emails but not there but they resent one. Thanks....
