    Lucid Cameras

I would assume that was just an unintentional typo, or more likely an overzealous spelling corrector. I just found it amusing.

    Lucid Cameras

A bad name for a car, it seems to me. :) There are also dedicated cameras for surround view mode.

    charging at EA

The Merecedes site says (my bold) "Mercedes me Charge helps simplify the entire process of locating, using and paying for charging on all major US networks. Purchasing or leasing a new EQS includes complimentary 30-minute sessions at Electrify America DC fast chargers for two years."

Some infotainment or connected vehicle features require enhanced vehicle wireless connectivity, which is included for the first year of ownership

That's the cell service for music streaming and navigation. No word yet that I've heard about the cost after the first year.

    DreamDrive Drowsy/Distracted Driver Alert

I have the impression that it might matter whether the sunglasses are prescription, from what Lucid service told me...

    Face / Pay Attention warning

Yes, that happened to me. Someone at Lucid told me that's not unusual if you wear glasses.

Air Pure or Model Y or just wait longer?

Audi e-tron SUV in the short term? I have a friend with that car who likes it a lot, and it was top of my list two years ago. It's got its oddities though, and is more like a conventional car inside.

    AC Preconditioning Impact on Range

Or maybe if you're pulling out of the main battery (as we presumably have to with the a/c), the L2 charging has to be stopped temporarily? This wouldn't explain the 10 mi/hr @Adnillien saw in a prior session, but maybe in that case the a/c was cycling on and off and thus the average charge rate...

    AC Preconditioning Impact on Range

Something here doesn't make sense to me. 6 kW is a lot of power for an A/C unit. For comparison, this window A/C unit takes about 1.5 kW (one quarter the power) and is designed to cool a 1000-sqft room. I suspect that the battery really is getting charged, and the display of "0.0 mi/hr" is wrong...

    Charging stop/start

Thanks. Yeah, I meant to say I just turned off notifications for charging in the app itself. I still have notifications turned on generally.

    Charging stop/start

I brought this up with Customer Care just for the notification aspect of it -- I was getting notifications every 15-20 minutes as it woke up, charged, and finished, presumably because my phone and I went in and out of the room immediately above the garage. I wound up turning off notifications...

    Setup Actions / Delivery Checklist

For future readers, the max now is apparently 15 across all profiles. You still need to set up every device on every profile you need to use it with. Sorry if this was already reported elsewhere. I did confirm I could set up both of my garage doors on both of my profiles (for a total of 4...

    Radar detectors

That is in fact what I had heard a couple of weeks ago from a service advisor too. But consider that for this to be true, one of two things had to happen: They have a new tint coating that covers only the "cutout" region, in such a way that it is is undetectable to the human eye, OR They have a...

    Radar detectors

I just heard from the mobile service tech out to service my car that he understood that there was no longer a cutout at all, that they had changed the way the entire windshield is manufactured to avoid electromagnetic interference. If true, this would explain the lack of visible cutout the...

    Payment for lucid gt air

If you're not comfortable with pre paying I'd suggest telling your DA that and asking for alternatives. In California you can show up day of delivery with a cashier's check (I did this).

to charge or not to charge, that is the question...

Yeah, there's no technical reason to keep the car charged to 80%. It's fine to keep it within 20-80 at your convenience. That said, with my Tesla I got in the habit of just plugging it in every time I drove in the garage, which saved me a couple of times when I forgot I was going somewhere that...

Please Help With Spotify Questions In The Air….

I haven't done a lot of research on the differences, but I did see this which seemed pretty helpful. For me the big difference was high-quality streaming (MQA) on my home devices that support Tidal. I'm not sure it matters much if you're just listening in the car over 4G/5G.
