For Sale 2023 Lucid Air Touring

I agree with that. I just sold my Touring, and the main benefit of the PPF/Ceramic was that the car looked really nice & shiny w/o much effort on my part. If I didn't have it, I probably would have dropped about $250 for a wash/wax/detail.

It was a great six months!

Sold my Air Touring on Cars & Bids and just turned it over to the new owner yesterday. I have nothing bad to say about the car. The depreciation was a little steep, but that's life. It has been a pleasure driving it for these past six months. Now I am moving on to my Rivian phase, which should...

    Garage Door Opener

Livekey is no longer. I got a new Apple Watch and was trying to re-pair the livekey connection. I couldn't log in, so I tried to reset my password, but never got a reset link. If you go to the website, you get this message: "LiveKey is no longer active. Thanks to all who have supported the...

    AGT meets Cybertruck!

People bought Pontiac Aztecs, too. There's no accounting for taste! Some people think the Rivian is ugly. I like it.

Hardwire your home charging station! Or use a Hubbel / Bryant / Cooper 14-50 receptacle, not Leviton

Well, if you pull out a six-foot cheater bar and go to town, you'll probably break the connectors. 😁

    dream drive self park

I just had a service visit and auto-park not working was one of my issues. I had used it when I first got it to park at work between two cars. Neat, but never used it again as manually parking is easy for me. Tried to show it off to someone in an empty lot (freshly sealed with bright, crisp...

How many states has your Lucid been to?

Only VA & NC for me. I won't cheat and count the states it passed through on the delivery truck! 😁

LUCID EV Home charger installation quotes pricey?

My installation was $2400. That was from an HVAC company that also does electrical work. I involved a lot of wire, as my panel (2x200 amp) was as far from the garage as it could be while still being inside the house. But mine was for a 60-amp circuit. I didn't have the Lucid yet. Didn't know...

Dream Edition Performance - Cars & Bids Listing

Watching that auction. Mine will be up for auction soon. Have a service ticket open and hope to get some minor issues fixed first.

    First Mobile Service Appointment

How are you initiating your service...using the app, or are you calling? My seat memory does not work. Also need the homing done for the easy exit feature. Maybe the two are related? I'm the only one who drives it, so I only noticed when I moved the driver's seat to vacuum.

What does everyone think of one-pedal driving in EVs?

OPD is da bomb. I got used to it in my GV-60 very quickly. Was somewhat annoyed that I had to put it back in iPedal mode (max regen) manually EVERY time. Was happy that the Air stayed in max regen mode. The Air also has stronger regen than the GV. I have the same feeling most of you do when...

Car Washing...what are your tips and tricks

I'm in central VA and also in a garage, so the freezing isn't an issue. But salt is water soluble and should mostly rise off. Maybe not as much if embedded in grime, but that's one of the reasons I set up the station; so I can give it a quick rinse if needed.

Car Washing...what are your tips and tricks

I built a detailing station so I can hose it off in the winter. Have a DI unit for spot-free rinsing. I mean, if you're gonna spend six figures on a car, then why not?

Car Washing...what are your tips and tricks

Man, that's OCD-level washing. I only wash mine once a week. Sometimes skip a week.

    Hunting wild Lucid Airs

Finally spotted one! Or it spotted me...I was washing my Lucid in the driveway, when I noticed someone approaching. Thought it might be the mail or a delivery, but when I glanced out in the road, there was a silver Air GT sitting there. She has had the AGT for over a year and only lives a few...

    RESOLVED Frunk closing not smooth

It opens quickly and comes to a stop abruptly. I have shelving in my garage about 6' from floor. First time I opened the frunk below the shelving, I panicked because I thought it was going to slam into the steel shelf, but it stopped well short.
