I'm pretty sure that the cam is continuous recording but only saves upon those events. Not sure what the purpose of having continuous recordings would be for?

The ability of the 2nd row to move forward gives you the option for EXTRA cargo room behind the 2nd row. If it were fixed, any objects bigger than the space behind would require the seats to be folded and would not be able to carry passengers. I see this as an alternative for a few use cases...

I have to say that SoCal HERE navigation has been in my experience exactly the same or better than Google Maps navigation. So much so that, I stopped comparing and just default to the Lucid nav. On the occasion I do check against GMaps, the navigation route is exactly the same.

Because a perfect car doesn't exist. We as consumers can weigh the differences for our own use case and make decisions. These two companies can co-exist, but really what is tiring is how often posters come in here and want a Lucid that has all the UX of Tesla but discount why Lucid is special...

sounds like you should just get a Tesla then. The app is not as feature rich as what Tesla can offer.
