Biggest question for me for the CEO is what's the updated time frame for profitability? No company, especially car manufacturers can keep burning billions in cash and survive. Regardless of whatever big investors... they all want ROI.

Glad i spotted this during a trip because the panels were about to come completely loose. These are the rear underbody shields and there's approximately 14 bolts, but only 5 were present. After inspection, there was no threadlocker at all for any of the bolts, which explains why they came...

Agreed. This "working as designed" behavior is disappointing when comparable and even cheaper cars have better performance. I love my Lucid, but having to lower expectations is a common thread.

I am confirming that it does "jab" me randomly after its turned off. I'm adding a 2nd observation that even after resting a while and turning it on, it doesnt "reset" and operates on occassion.

It should dim when it detects a car. This is not the case.

Thanks for confirming guys. Another Lucid "feature". Not how matrix headlights should work though. Benz, Lexus, and even Toyotas with them work correctly. On long dark Texas highways or in the country, these gaps become a huge blind spot.

Sorry guys, but I have owned multiple cars with matrix headlights and they only turn off the section when a real car is detected. These gaps are persistent.

No that's happens regardless of cars or not. I know how matrix lights work.

I have the same issue. Even turning it off and on again it is not consistent. Even after it resting for an hour, it doesn't work most of the time after 20 minutes.

Wanted to see if anyone has this issue. Not sure if this is software, led alignment issue, or just bad lights. On both left and right matrix lights, there are "gaps" where they dont shine at all. This isn't normally an issue until it really is dark at night on the highway and these gaps...

FYI I've been in contact with the service manager in Houston since its the only location in all of Texas. She told me they're finally opening up a service center in Dallas next month or so. That should alleviate the scheduling difficulties since they're backlogged like 3 months in advance...

Yes I'll report back in a few days. Suffice to say there's some improvements, and some of the same complaints. Both in physical build quality and in software.

Amazing to finally have it home! I ordered day 1 of the 2027 orders (April 1st). This is after them canceling my 26 Lunar Titanium. The white exterior is growing on me, although I am considering colored PPF. Nice that a top PPF shop is literally next door to Lucid. Build quality isn't...
