Not sure if this is related but I've noticed that if you go to CarPlay (or if the car does it for you, like if the phone rings or something) and then close CarPlay, the navigation windows stick in a mode where the turn-by-turn window is present in three places (bottom screen, top screen, and...

I'm here to second this one. I appreciate most everything I've encountered about the update so far, but the brighter, milkier, lower-contrast displays are a significant downgrade in my opinion. Harder to read, distracting at night, and just aesthetically unpleasant. Unless there's some arcane...

Yes lots of problems with the Tidal app. I'll add that it will only display the first 250 albums that you've favorited (in the order you added them), so as you go over that number you won't see the first albums you added anymore. I think the answer, as others have said, is to manage your...

Thanks friends, these are plausible. I'm getting down to it on tread wear but not terribly uneven. It really feels to me like something went temporarily awry with the electric boost, like some stray signal was causing it to fight itself somehow, and it got set right after the mode change...

A few weeks ago I started feeling like the steering on my '25 AT was out of spec. Hard to put it in precise terms, but it started feeling vague on center, wallowing in turns, wandering a bit on the highway, at least in comparison to what I was accustomed to. I can't get a real assessment from...

I was snooping around the possible site of a new DTLA Lucid studio this morning. Pretty quiet so I don’t think it will be open any time soon (if I was in the right place). Selfishly, this would be amazing, as it’s within walking distance for me.

Confirming here that the Tidal app is capping the number of albums it will display from my collection at 250. Some of you may not be using Tidal this way, but I like to treat it like my own record library rather than letting it run playlists or stations, or just doing searches for things as I...

Adding on here...I guess this is a feature request. I'm also irritated that there's no way to organize albums in the Tidal app, but on top of that I think I've bumped up against a maximum album count or something, because the albums that were added first are disappearing as I add new ones...

A/C is not great. It's fine at speed (plenty of air blowing across the coil) but struggles in traffic, and it takes a good 20 minutes to bring the cabin temp down if the car's been in the sun. I try to deploy the built-in shades and also remember the windshield shade whenever possible, and...

Update installed. My observations: 1. Generally pretty happy, Google managing destinations is an improvement 2. Had to do the logout/login thing for driver profile, Sirius, and Tidal to get everything working. 3. New annoyance: If I exit out of navigation on the center screen (to go to audio...

I'd like the audio system to reliably pick up where it left off between drives, irrespective of band/app/service.

Okay I'll bite...where do I look?

Yes, in my experience the Air can't handle the handoff from WiFi to cellular, so I leave WiFi off.

I'm in California. We regularly drive from LA to Idyllwild and there's about a ten minute stretch of 243 where the Lucid goes silent (no Sirius, no Tidal) because there's no cell service. It takes a long time to reacquire even when our phones come back online. Just roll down the windows and...

I was having this the last few days. Seems like it can be caused by various phantom notifications from your phone. I toggled the notification settings in CarPlay and it went away.

I was irritated by the view to the display at first. It requires a higher wheel and lower seat position than I'm accustomed to. But I got used to it and it's fine. Same with the fob/phone. I keep them both with me so I don't know which one is doing the work, but I occasionally get delays, and I...

Pretty much every Air I've been in has had some kind of unseemly creak coming from the steering wheel. Yesterday I isolated mine to the clamshell seam at the top behind the airbag (so part of the wheel assembly, not the column--pic). I worked a bit of furniture beeswax in there (because that's...

Haven't investigated scientifically but yeah, CarPlay calls seem laggy and degraded (2025 AT).

I went with the metal roof and have no regrets. I appreciate both the heat rejection and acoustic deadening. SS Pro is great but the experience varies a lot with the source. The quality of available Atmos mixes varies a lot, even on the same album.

UPDATE - Tidal users, the workaround here is to pause playback before you exit the car, then resume the next time you're in it. If you let it try to do this by itself it will choke. UPDATE - I've gotten into the habit of picking "favorites" from the "recents" list in the search window (which...
