my journey today ... just for annecdotal evidence Los Altos to SF (yes, I braved parking in SF) 43.6miles / 11kwh used / 4.0 average driving style. good mix. 37 ish miles on 280 ( 80 mph - but v consistent - little acceleration / braking - but ups n downs) 4 miles down hill (always a great...

    Tired of Poor Quality software

I too carry the fob - though I think it is because the house key is with it. Old habits die hard (and slowly)

    Tired of Poor Quality software

It takes ctrl-alt-delete to a whole new level of bloody awkward Definitely room for improvement on the sw. I’m lucky I’ve had one issue that required a reset (gps stopped) … and I had saved the instructions so it was a reasonably painless “fix” despite being 9pm an hour into a 1000 road trip

It is a source of amusement to my wife… but I am still grumbling that a 11yr thinks she gets a vote !

    Brake lights & regen braking

I would like this... I has bothered me not knowing - particularly as so many tesla drivers seem to have phantom braking (never seen on lucid)

we have plenty of people who are achieving EPA or near EPA. some are actually exceeding EPA and as I and others have said, achieving 80% of EPA makes absolutely no difference to how I drive / feel. if DRIVING is important... buy it ... if range is specifically important, don't buy. I LOVE the...

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

ABSOLUTELY, very subjective, I wasn't meaning to infer what works for me works for others... though perhaps trying to paint a picture of how daily / weekly the specific miles/kWh hasn't really bothered me. Range was part of my criteria - drive / looks / dare I scarcity (since I live in an area...

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

Not perhaps - for definite. but yes, not with equal impact as I wrote in another thread. For me … I don’t notice or care. When I am doing my commute (50x2miles) or bobbing around town, I tend to plug in at home (L1 charge 2miles per hour) and charge at EA once per week. Now I don’t go...

    Average mi/kwh

Check out the range test we ran. a convoy of 5 Lucid’s of various configurations, with a range of 3.6 to 4.5miles/kWh you can ALWAYS drive more aggressively, and enjoy the car, for a shorter range. personally, when I am bobbing around the town, I charge once per week (at EA), and drive how...

    Brake lights & regen braking

One of the best things about the range test on Sunday, was being in a convoy with 4 other Lucids. it meant I got to see the regen based brake lights coming on (very occasionally) as we drove Ms Daisy to the beach and back (sorry @SaratogaLefty couldn’t resist) what I saw was mostly logical use...

    Tired of Poor Quality software

I agree. in addition the controls on the side of the seat are just like every single other car out there. no mention of range / efficiency "self drive" ... I assume it is cruise control ... don't understand how this can be "hard to activate" --- let alone cruise control is not, and never tried...

    Incessant squeaking

Give customer services a call If you can record the noise and get them to sort it out ASAP. Neither you or they will want you to keep driving with that noise

3 years of free charging includes?

went to Valley Faire today - I think it has 13 stations ! when I arrived 3 were in use. when I left 35 mins later - 9 were in use... but all three cars that were there when I had arrived had left. (for those who don't know valley faire is San Jose's largest shopping mall includes Lucid) in all...
