Out of Spec roadtrips Gravity and DDP2 has some issues

Yes I did not stop where there no stop sign for me. And the truck blew through the intersection And yes I have had drivers do that. And Tesla is not autonomous like everyone keeps saying. Just sit in the back and have it safely drive you through traffic and then we’ll talk. But until then it...

"Engineering Explained" Takes Another Swipe at Lucid

No but did you not say Lucid would be gone by the end of 2027? So you would be stuck with a fancy car with zero support not just difficult to get a schedule for. If they go down then where are you? It’s not a car that you can fix with one small toolbox. Heck you can’t even take the wheels off...

    Repair question

Well what I find more interesting is that the shop sat on their hands for weeks before they discovered they needed this special tool. To reiterate: A lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part. So yes I’d be pi$$ed at that shop, not Lucid, in this case there is no...

Lucid air vs Ceer Exobot Sedan Special Edition

For USA drivers I’m pretty certain you can’t even drive one into the country. And heaven forbid if you drive one near any military base. Our country is run by people who have an issue with China that they aren’t interested in resolving

    UX 3.0 Update

Personally I considered the cccv2 AND 2.11 as a major upgrade. As such I would treat it as if we were starting from scratch. I’ve spent too much time writing both sw & hw tests to become complacent with large changes. I’ve also spent a bit of time supporting systems and again I treated this as a...

    Warranty expiring in November

Any part that holds or positions a sensor will likely require access to Lucid specific calibration tools. So actually quite a bit of data he car than you might expect. But if you don’t care about any of the self driving, curb ease, cameras, etc then you might be able to just drive the car

Out of Spec roadtrips Gravity and DDP2 has some issues

Yesterday I stopped at the Tesla dealer in Woodbury Minnesota and looked at and sat in a MY, 2027. In my opinion I’d just as rather drive my old Yaris. The front seats were less comfortable than my GT and the back were like sitting on a box. Third row seats, well less said the better. The car...

    Lucid Air Cupholder NHTSA Complaint

In my opinion the design doesn’t need improvement it works well. You apparently think the cup design is proper and the car is broken. That’s your opinion, when my first try at a cup didn’t fit I went back in the house and got a different cup. I mean to be honest my coffee mug in the house...

    UX 3.0 Update

When you got that update did you reset everything? I have a feeling that some variable or constant is not being reinitialized R and I decided to start from scratch with cccv2 and 2.11 I’m not seeing any of these issues. I do see other items I prefer different but not new problems

    Lucid Air Cupholder NHTSA Complaint

And that is the fault of Lucid that your cup doesn’t fit the way you want? Then file your complaint and next time take your cup with you when you buy your replacement for the Lucid. Seriously if something is that critical then you should address it before you spend your money. So a cup holder...

My unsolicited review and constructive criticism of Air UX3.0

You know I was just thinking about this and it reminds me of putting a desktop on a multi monitor setup and how parts of the image end up as just a light or dark place on the screens. So I wonder if it is an artifact of the background image? Thoughts?

My unsolicited review and constructive criticism of Air UX3.0

Yeah that grayness is mmm unwelcome. On the flip side I stopped at the Tesla dealer yesterday and had them show me a maxed out MY. Sigh still looks like a child’s toy. Seats are horrid and uncomfortable and the design makes my body hurt just looking at it.

Here’s 3 that aren’t Lucid specific but they fit. Interesting they all came from vendors at trade shows.

Another simple subwoofer install with pics

Yes if you lose 12v power the car is dead I’m unsure if simply reconnecting addresses this but based on the 12v “jumper “ point I think resuppling 12v would be fine Not sure about any reboot time once power is restored
