Since you are either 2-3 versions behind depending on configuration, call customer support and ask them to push the latest version appropriate for your car. Currently, there is no way to “check for updates” from the car.

I was really hoping that the *new app update* would have fixed this background battery drain for me. But it did not. Acknowledge this is the car update thread for 2.9 but this was released as a pair and I didn’t see a point in starting a new thread.
