Has anyone posted a good video of installation and setup of the Lucid Connected Home Charger?

I used the list of suggestions by members on this forum as my requirements during bidding. Went with an electrician who didn't have any problems with securing a permit and walked me through the process. He was also the low bid. The city permits cost almost as much as the work itself, but it was...

I must have overslept and missed the meeting. Can you clarify which meeting and the source of this distressing news?

Not the answer I wanted, but thanks anyway for the clear explanation.

    V2H Coming Soon

Just installed an LCHCS recently. If I already have NEM 1.0, eg. the ability to transfer electricity to the grid, can I assume that I have a "neutral-forming autotransformer?" I know I already have a manual switch that allows my ancient inverter to output to a single 110v outlet.

    Air Charging

I've had this problem with scheduled charging working sometimes, but not always. The update notes on the 2.90 release explains that it will fix an issue with scheduled charging, but both the app and the car have to be on the most recent version. I was able to update the IOS app, but am still...

    Torrance Service Center Availability

Depends on your mileage, but pushing it back a couple of months is likely not an issue. I have low mileage (7500 miles/yr), so I am just now set up for the two-year service on a car that is 3 years old. The SC told me that I could wait six months on my Year One service at the time. But there are...

Can we keep thread on subjects?

The problem is that unless you've already logged in before perusing the forum, no post is ignored. Usually I don't bother to log in unless I want to comment on an existing thread or post a new one. If the offending posters get the hint, great, but somehow I doubt it. Just like if the concerns...

Electrek: "Lucid stands out as one of the very few winners" among general decline of EV registrations.

The Electrek EV blog published an article about declining California EV registrations here. Among a general decline of 24%, it noted that Lucid stood out as a positive counterexample: "Among all this destruction, Lucid stands out as one of the very few winners." See the full article.

    3.0 on Air

Can you post the emails? I'm scheduled to have CCV2 installed in June, but really don't need it except for compatibility with UX3.0.

Three-year review. 2023 Lucid Air Touring

It's my wife's daily driver, so I drive it mostly on weekends. We've taken a few trips but the longest was four hours. That's why I'm heading in to just my second annual service, because I stretch them out. :)

Three-year review. 2023 Lucid Air Touring

TLDR Summary For frequent readers of the forum, I am part of the group that has had very few issues with my 2023 AT. The main things it needed after the original due bill were seat rehoming, replace front door sealing, and replace frunk sealing. That said, the car has been reliable and an...

    Air Version 2.8.30

After installing 2.8.30 in my 2023 AT, I had the UI feedback (highlighting, unhighlighting) on the climate screen of the pilot panel become unresponsive. The climate features still worked and you could see what temperature, AC on/off, fan speed, etc... when using the physical buttons, which...

Kyle shares more about Lucid Cosmos

A cursory reading of the troubles at xAI - beyond child porn, Nazi tendencies, and gas-belching data centers - shows that "leaning all the way in" can lead to a lot of faceplanting. Even Musk admits, “xAI was not built right first time around, so is being rebuilt from the foundations up,”...

Lucid Air G.T.P. with 21 Inch Wheel / Summer Tires : 446 mile is possible*

I also watch my efficiency ratings, but my wife doesn't and runs the AC a lot more than I do, so anything Lucid can do to improve AC efficiency would be most appreciated. Not holding my breath... @Takeshi, great post.

Lucid Motors slashes 12% of its workforce as it seeks profitability (Feb 2026)

"Hourly workers on the manufacturing, logistics, and quality teams are not affected by the cuts, according to the memo, which was sent to employees being spared by the layoffs." (from the TechCrunch article).

CCCv2 upgrade for Lucid Air using points discussion

Just received the LCHCS with points. Doh! I could have bought one from the many sellers on this site and used the points for the CCCv2 upgrade.

For Sale V1 Mobile Charger for sale or swap for v2

I have a RangeXChange adaptor, so I need to sell or swap my V1 mobile charger that came with my 2023 Air Touring. It works with all model years. It is in like-new condition, because I have never needed to use it. It has the adaptors for 110 and 240 volt outlets and mounting plates. I’m asking...

2/3 or 3/3 copper wire for Lucid Charger

I just went through the initial estimate process with Qmerit and then called them because of the custom issues with Lucid charger installation, but they said that it would be part of the final estimate. No mention of custom quote fee.

Lucid Connected Home Charging System Installation tips!

Thanks for all the help. I thought I would need to add a 100amp breaker, but I could always hope that someone would say, hey 80 amps is still a lot. If there is an eventual V2H function, it's probably important to have more rather than less. Thanks, @Electrified, I'll give this a shot.
