    RESOLVED Is motor whine normal?

Probably no, it's about how they mount the motors. The rear motor is mounted differently, so you can't hear anything from the rear. It's probably a deliberate choice to let front motor sound out. Because the front side of the car is about sportiness and the back of car is about quiet and...

    RESOLVED Is motor whine normal?

I really like the motor sound. And it's a polarizing sound.

    Shoutout to the mobile app

The current 1.x software in the car is shitty to say at least. The team completely dropped the ball. However, on the flip side the mobile app, at lease the iOS one is really reliable and delightful to use. Compare to the Rivian one, it has much more feature. Compare the Tesla one, it's prettier...

    When do we see 2.0?

I disagree, the current app start up time bugs me every time I get into the car.

Traded in my R1T for Air GT

Nope, I'm not a SUV or Crossover guy. The Air is perfect for me, only thing needs improvement is software.

Traded in my R1T for Air GT

Rivian and Lucid are total different EVs. And they are both good at what they are doing. It really depends on your life style. If you have an outdoorsy life style, then obvious Rivian is a much much better choice. And I would argue that's the best choice in the history of cars. But I really...

Traded in my R1T for Air GT

Lol, obviously both Taycan and EQS don't have gasoline engines. And they are excellent EVs. By "real", I meant drivetrain packaging and designing a car from the ground up.

Where to buy cargo net in the frunk?

We can all push Lucid to start sourcing those nets. But I do understand ramping up production is already giving them a big headache. I hope their communication can be more transparent. Btw, I just received my all weather floor mat for my (traded-in) R1T. Rivian had issues with producing them...

Traded in my R1T for Air GT

Thanks! The range is on par with EPA estimation when driving in conserve mode. But obviously nothing like GT/DE's 500+ miles range. After switching to the Air GT w/ 19'' wheel, I basically forgot about I'm driving an EV, such a nice feeling!

Where to buy cargo net in the frunk?

Yes, they are. They probably had some parts shortage.

Where to buy cargo net in the frunk?

These two nets, they should be very handy for holding water bottles, roll papers, etc.

Where to buy cargo net in the frunk?

There supposed to be two cargo nets in the frunk, right? I think the dealer lost those two nets, where can I buy them separately? Thanks!

What's the License Plate Screw Size?

For my pre-owned Air, the dealership couldn't care to put correct size screws for the license plate. They just threw two mismatch screws on it, and one of them can only screw half way in. I'm going to buy a few screws from HomeDepot and wondering what is the size.

    Stuck on 1.2.6?

Thanks! I just texted them, let's see how it goes.

Traded in my R1T for Air GT

Lucid has much better noise isolation. In lower speed: R1T drivetrain can be noisy (clunks when start/stop), noise from air suspension. It feels like they intentionally didn't isolate much noise from the drivetrain/bottom of the truck. I don't hear any noise from the Air except from the motor...

Traded in my R1T for Air GT

Yes, the car has been sitting in the dealership’s warehouse for 3 months. I did transfer the ownership through lucid and the car is linked to my account.
