Got the update this evening. Installation took 1 whole hour.

On the EQS, there's also the button to stop charging. Additionally, I could select an option to automatically unlock the cable upon charge completion. I really like this feature because I don't need to unlock the car or have the fob/phone with me. Very convenient when the charging is at home.

Yes, the car is unlocked. The green light is still on despite the app showing charge completed. I would need to wait a minute or 2 before being able to remove the cable.

MB reportedly just slapped their logo onto Lectron adapters and jacked up the price 25%. That was the case 2 years back. Don't know about now

I think you're right. I believe they got after-market wheels and had modifications that I have no clues.
