    New owner overall impressions

I had two E39's, a 2002 540i-6 and a M5. I even did the CVE drill mod on the 540i for smoother shifts! Enjoy the Air, of all the cars I've driven it is completely in a league of its own!

    RESOLVED Rear ac for kids

To test, if he sits in the seat next to where the booster is, the occupant sensor picks him up. So yes, in the meantime, we have manually turn on the rear climate system.

    RESOLVED Rear ac for kids

It seems the normal operation of the climate control is to automatically turn on the rear system when it detects an occupant in the seat. We'll see the graphic on the curved display whether or not passengers have buckled in their seat belts. However, when my son gets in his booster seat, it...

Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Pure

Base on my experience of prepping the paint for a ceramic coating, (decontaminating with an iron remover, Nanoskin/clay, medium then fine polish), it's those steps that give you the gloss and reflectivity. The ceramic coat to me is a hydrophobic barrier.

Air Conditioning not cooling the car enough

On days I go out for a 4-5 hour bike ride, I park in an open lot with no shade. I have my side and back windows tinted with XPEL Prime XR Plus. Don't feel the need to tint the windshield and glass canopy. I don't use a windshield sunshade and may forget to bring up the rear and back shades...

ALL TEXAS OWNERS (or future owners) please post on this thread

John and his crew are awesome, even invited me back on a Saturday, if I wanted to wash my car or detail, he offered the use of products he had on hand. I've never been to such a welcoming detailing/PPF shop!

I REALLY miss my car 😢

Indeed, the Polestar 2 is nice, the interior is good quality and is designed in a way that it’s not jarring to move from a junior exec ICE car (3-series, c-class). Time and software updates have made Google integration work well. Definitely not as brittle over road imperfections as the TM3.

I REALLY miss my car 😢

My wife's Q5 plug-in is near lease-end. Last Friday on a whim I decided to try out a Rivian R1T. When I pulled up the Rivian specialist said you can't set your expectations for the R1T based on what you are driving. I confirmed to him I came with no expectations but came away impressed for...

Initial Impressions Lucid GT Stealth in Chicago

Great review, even dropping off and picking up my kid at school is an event with the Air! Thought the handling was similar to the Panamera and Taycan, even with more compliance. Enjoy!

    install my lucid charger

@4givingGuy that is too good to be true, I think you hit a bug using the Tesla charger. I use a Chargepoint Home Flex with a 50A circuit, and I'm getting a max draw of 40A, with the Air reporting 39 miles per hour @ 9.7kw.

How effective is your air conditioner?

Have not had my HVAC serviced since I think it's cooling the cabin down in a reasonable time. Just the first car I've had that directs cold air to the defroster vents first before the main vents. After having been out all day in the Houston heat, the climate control continues to operate per my...
