As an owner, why are you investing in Lucid?

@PetevB, always bringing the amazing posts. My only bone to pick with your thoughtful post is that it's "row to hoe," bro.

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Today I had a warning ! orange triangle on my clearview cockpit, but no way to figure out what it was. Usually I can tap the "bell" icon on the right side of the clearview cockpit and see what the warning is about, but in this case there was nothing there. I poked around to see if I could...

    Low Suspension for Entry/Exit

Yeah, I am finding myself paranoid about the doors, more than I have ever been in any car. (ironically, this is my first SUV) Even in high yesterday, I could barely get the driver door open when I parked next to a curb. The door cleared the curb ok, but there was grass behind the curb that...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Whoa, my audio alerts went a little bing bongy today. Driving to drop my kid at school, pulling out of a red light, suddenly I got a warning dinging noise (the car never came out of Drive, I had been driving normally before, but as soon as I hit like 2mph it started dinging) that would not stop...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Seat heating will not launch from my app. A couple days in a row I've tried this, each time no luck. It looks like it's on in the app (although, note to Lucid: I suggest you use clearer colors in all your menus and interfaces) but inside, no dice. No toasty butt :(

    Dynamic Efficiency

You guys are doing a lot better than I am. I'm coming in under 2.5 miles/kwh - when I started I was closer to 3 (2.8-2.9) but it's been falling steadily and has really crashed out the last few days. Admittedly I am only 2 weeks in, but I'm starting to wonder if I have a drive unit issue...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Re: "Burlap." IMO the fabric material is beautiful and highly reminiscent of the kind of wool upholstery you'd see in mid-century modern Knoll furniture. In fact I'd bet money that's the inspiration the designers were pulling from when they specified it. Admittedly I don't have to have my...

I agree, the serenity modes are actually a lot cooler than I thought they would be. I thought they were a silly gimmick when they first showed them off but in reality I have enjoyed using them a few times now. I hope they will add more over time. Actually it could be cool for them to find a way...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

I had a 1996 MBW M3 (E36) that had a slight window open to recess from the door seal - with a conventional door handle and an instant recess.

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

My A/C was a little possessed today. Had to turn it way up in the morning since it was a pretty cold day. For some reason, it made an ungodly whistling noise that I'd never heard it make before. Some kind of very loud wind noise from the ducting. I got it to stop by switching to windshield...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Generally agree with your comments on soft close. It definitely requires more conscious effort to officially soft close than just close the door like any normal vehicle. Also definitely agree with the door opening being a bit precious and finicky. At best, it takes getting used to waiting a...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Update: These cleared after a sleep, but... later, the Dream Drive Limited alarm came back (not the one on the left side of the clearview cockpit that clears out quickly, but the yellow/orange triangle on the right side of the screen, and also comes up when you hit the "Bell" icon on the right)...

I'm going to laud the auto high beams. They perform so, so accurately and well. I don't know if this is "standard" on cars these days, but if it is, I haven't experienced it. They very intelligently and instantly flick up and down depending on whether or not there is incoming traffic or cars...

100%! (My Tesla has this and it's very convenient) Hopefully they can put it in a future update.

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

New warnings for me today that don’t seem like trivial error messages. They don’t just go away and stay up as warnings. If they’ve been mentioned here before they didn’t turn up in my search. “Use Brakes to Hold” and “Dream Drive Limited.” Both say to schedule service. I can verify that Hold...

    Low Suspension for Entry/Exit

I do think they need to open up the capability to raise the suspension even when a door is open. If it gets pinned, you've got to scrape it again to unpin it.

Sounds like you got the matter resolved, but FYI that tracking number is a FedEx Home Delivery tracking number (you can see it if you search the tracking number and scroll down to see what service was used). Home Delivery is a ground service, not an express/expedited service. Period.
