...installed a license plate wrap to the front of their Gravity? The vertical height available in the car seems a little shorter than an actual license plate. I'm thinking I may have to trim the top and bottom border of the wrap slightly, but haven't ordered one yet. https://licenseplatewrap.com/

I had heard (from someone who switched to a personalized plate) that it was difficult to remove.

What problems? It’s legal and enforced by the DMV: https://licenseplatewrap.com/

...replace official California DMV-issued plates." However, there is one company that has a legal relationship with DMV: https://licenseplatewrap.com/. I used theirs for my front license display and it looks decent. Only warning, it can be a little tricky applying it without tearing it. I had a...

I’m also in CA and ordered this. Yet I’m so in love with the way the car looks clean that I’m debating whether or not to install it… The wrap hasn’t yet arrived, so I’ll just keep thinking about it! Haha.

Here's a no-drill alternative that is legal in California: https://licenseplatewrap.com/ This company makes similar products for various states and Canada: https://adhesivereplica.com/index.php?route=common/home

If you're concerned these aren't legal in your state you could also use a tow hook license plate mount. There are many choices, here's an example. Here's one thread (of several) about them on this site.

Honestly it’s a cool idea; but I wouldn’t use it just for my personal sensibilities. I also have never been pulled over for it in a luxury car. But me and a previous secretary of mine got pulled over in her Honda for no front tag; which makes me think it’s arbitrary and centered around unjust...

I just received my front license plate wrap in the mail. I tried rtff, but couldn't find a single image that would help me with precise placement of the license plate. I'm thinking it should be centered vertically on the front white panel (eg. neither at the top nor at the bottom) and centered...

Hi hydbob, I am considering the license plate wrap for my car. Just wanted to know your thoughts? Is it holding up well ? Does it significantly affect the look ? A few I have seen around dont have the front license plate. Thanks,

Was this the wrap you got? https://licenseplatewrap.com/ I have been back and forth just ordering this one and this may have convinced me.

I wonder if that's legal in NY. I currently have no front plate on my i4 and I've been fine. In fact I pass by a police car many days that's parked in one spot with an officer inside and he's never pulled me over.
