Plus the wind resistance of the Gravity is much greater than the Model 3's. I mean, the frontal area of the Gravity is nearly 3x that of the Model 3. Even with the great Cd of the Gravity it'll never be nearly as slippery as a small, aerodynamic sedan.

The Gravity is a much more massive vehicle than the Model 3 and weighs considerably more. Our LR RWD M3 can get over 4 miles/kWh when driven conservatively. My Gravity so far is averaging over 3 miles/kWh in mixed driving. So it’s not too bad considering the difference in size and mass.

I can probably do a scan of it. I’m going to get some scans done of the interior of mine but it’s a 7-seater if that makes a difference. I just need to bring my laptop in there to use my laser scanner because the optical one doesn’t work that well on all the dark surfaces.

Anyone have DD and backup cameras suddenly stop working? Drive home from the SC yesterday and all was fine. Today no backups, lane change or DD. Strangely the cameras are working because I can activate them through live view. Done the reset procedure several times now.

I spent about half an hour once trying to figure out how to Tetris a half-sheet of plywood into my Model X 6-seater. The cargo space on that thing was so ridiculously bad. A 6 seat SUV that could barely fit, in any configuration, a 4’x4’ sheet of wood.

I'm certainly not a tech guru but the presence of those lines on the screen does feel like an issue with wiring. Because they were so evenly spaced it doesn't seem like something that would just naturally be created by a software bug unless it was a design feature.

Try just tilting them enough that they’re minimized to your perspective. That alone took away about 80% of the perceived obstruction for me. I think just having the nubs still stuck on the windshield would somehow bother me worse.

I do think the nature of the openings in the X’s frame structure just lead to it being inherently flexible over time.
