    Gravity 3.5.1

OK, so the valet scenario makes the most sense. Guess it's halfway to a true phone as a key. Thx

What's the excitement around remote start? Previously, I could turn on climate control. What do you get with remote start?

New software update for Gravity - 3.5

Maybe Lucid's announcement was enough to push Tesla forward with Car Play?? From Bloomberg yesterday : “Tesla Inc. is developing support for Apple Inc.’s CarPlay system in its vehicles, according to people with knowledge of the matter, working to add one of the most highly requested features by...

Tow Hitch - any reason not to leave it on full time?

Lucid put a bunch of grease on the hitch, to protect from getting stuck. It's an interesting mounting process, not simple or quick to put on or take off. Still seems like a good idea to remove it, at least periodically and re-apply the grease to the connection points.

Tow Hitch - any reason not to leave it on full time?

I have a Model Y with the hitch, but it can't be removed. I could put the plastic cover over it, which improves the appearance but it's a pain to get it off. I use my bike rack a couple times each week. I take the bike rack off but I don't cover the opening. The hitch on the Gravity is...

    Thanks for the points, @borksi

Tow Hitch - any reason not to leave it on full time?

I have the tow hitch on our Gravity for my bike rack (1 Up bike racks are the BEST). I don't plan to remove the tow hitch when I'm not hauling bikes. I'm not expecting any impact on airflow, range, etc. Has anyone measured this? Any other reason I should consider removing the hitch when it's...

    Lucid Investor Day - March 12, 2026

Hopefully, it keeps getting regular updates, better and better, ongoing. That's the only way they'll ever get close to Level 4 autonomy.

    Lucid Investor Day - March 12, 2026

It never fails - doing a live demo of software to a large audience is asking for trouble. The Lucid Assistant demo failed due to poor connectivity, so they resorted to a recorded video. :)

$500 promo. What are you ordering?

I used my store credit on the floor mats and the frunk cargo bins (which I'm using in the back)

    Temp reading

Good question! I was hoping the 3.4.1 would fix this bug as well. Yes, please report it - I just did. The temperature in our Gravity is consistently 10 degrees higher than the actual outdoor temp. Every other modern vehicle has a reasonably accurate temperature gauge to show the outdoor temp.

Gravity Cold weather driving range experience (small sample)

Winter Performance - Wow! I'm super impressed! We left our Gravity parked outside in a DC area hotel for a week, in freezing temps, amidst piles of ice and snow. We got back last night, temps were 15 degrees, -4 wind chill, piles of ice and snow still around our vehicle. On the shuttle from...

    Jumper Cables?

Thx - did the same thing, proactively on my Tesla Model Y. Tesla maintenance did it in my driveway at no cost. Even if we need to pay for it, it's inexpensive insurance to get it done before it fails.

    Lucid Gravity 3.4.0 software update

Thanks! I checked the other day for an update but nothing was available. Appreciate your posting this. Now using v2.13.0

    Temp reading

Same, the temperature shown in the Gravity is meaningless. Seems to have no relation to the outside temperature, except consistently warmer than reality, by 10 degrees or more.

Gravity- Driving in snow and on icy roads

Love the chat about winter driving. I've not seen anyone mention issues with the door handles freezing. Are they working as intended? In other older threads, I saw a couple mentions of this problem. Our Gravity is going to sit at Dulles Airport for a week, next week in the freezing weather...

How Gravity handle long parking times?

That's great to hear. Thanks @FlatbushBoy My Gravity spent it's first night outdoors last night, in Richmond, VA. Temps were below 30. It didn't drop a single percentage point. Stayed at 58% from our arrival at 6pm until departure at 1pm the next day. Not a big test but still encouraging.
