Do you think hands-free driving is coming in any foreseeable future? I'm not sure I would hold my breath for it...

It’s a combination of a “brilliant” positioning of the monitoring camera below the instrument cluster which makes steering wheel block it, and a very high sensitivity of the system to cancel auto resume. It cancels on me every time I take a sip from my coffee mug.

Lucid is a start up company that has been making cars for less than 4 years. While they clearly succeeded in creating a great driving machine (where their main focus has been, at least accordingly to what I've read), their software is lagging behind both in terms of functionality/customizability...

Probably not really to lock but to rename into "AA issues" ;)

Cheer up! The new OTA will introduce new bugs and you will need the next one to fix those!

I don't think they make pricing decisions based on individuals tracking or not their cars. They use countrywide statistics. In general, EV theft levels are much lower than the ICE ones.

I think they factor in how often the car is stolen. Honda CR-V is one of the most commonly stolen cars in the US. I bet Lucid isn't.

Well, I got charged for my EA charging today despite being well within free 1 year and 1000 kW😢. And it was not a regular credit card hold (which happened too and was promptly returned). I called lucid customer service and they have confirmed that my free allowance is still active. They advised...

Yep, Tesla's CEO is well known for always making the right and rational decisions...

I think removing credit or rebate is much easier and is more palatable for people than abruptly increasing the car price. I'm sure they want to keep that option available if demand increases...

Are the 2 cars ahead that are driving over the lane markings about to crash into each other? ;)

It is indeed required by law but is rarely enforced.

My 2025 AT does the same thing. In addition it phantom breaks frequently to parked cars if I use adaptive cruise in the neighborhood

My ordering process was a little messy too, but I just had to change the color once. The glass roof was a hard no for me, as it is for some other owners who are exposed to hot summers. In general, I would agree with @Unmutual - you have to have patience to deal with Lucid, as it still feels...

I have never had an inaccurate routing with the Air's native navigation system. However I am surprised that it doesn't allow you to save favorites (except for home and work). My 2002 Acura TL had this feature. That's one of the reasons I use maps on Apple Carplay.

Now I am able to configure an Air again. So probably was some glitch.

Well, I guess it’s just one of the Lucid’s glitches. Nothing exciting then…

Have you tried to configure a car all the way? After I (and others) select a trim, it sends me directly to inventory with no way to actually configure one.

An updated Air is on the way?

Today - a new bug since 2.6.16. The easy entry feature stopped working (the part that resumes sest's driving position after entering the car). Microphone/x/brake reset and leaving car asleep for 20-30 min did not fix it. I had to go into seats menu and recall driving position every single time I...
