Yeah it's "pilot" that throws me off, since cockpit/pilot both imply "for the driver" to me. If they'd just called the pilot panel "center" or "side" it would be more obvious, albeit a much more mundane name.

Ah, this is a good clarification, at least for my case: Both the front and back of the panel are *not* hot to the touch. At best, they are warm.

I've gotten the random windshield wipers going when the car wakes up for awhile now, but usually just one or two swipes. I'm pretty sure that's happened in the garage which would rule out sunlight, but I'll keep an eye an on it now to see when that happens.

Amusing side-effect of a near silent car: hitting any kind of snow is quite loud in the cabin. I thought I had dented sides or bumpers a couple times this week, but everything looks good.

One note I forgot, I couldn't get the car to recognize the key fob or the key card. In the end I opened the doors with the app and sat in the car and warmed up and took the battery out and let it warm up and that seemed to get the fob going and let me drive.
