    Impressed with service turnaround!

The problem is their strategy has been to continue to add more studios around existing service centers to drive more sales without having to invest a ton of $$$ in more service centers. You can see that as recently as their March investor presentation, where they detailed plans to add more...

    Homelink Triggering On Its Own

This is annoying but hopefully an easy fix. Fingers crossed that it's addressed in the imminent software update along with the window raising issues some have flagged.

Lucid's Future Amidst The Middle East Conflict

Upon further reflection, the real economic issues for production in KSA aren't really (1) above, they're (2) plus the ~25% vehicle import tariffs. I'm highly sceptical that cost savings from production in KSA will negate these additional costs for US-bound vehicles. Not great for Lucid's bottom...

Lucid's Future Amidst The Middle East Conflict

That's not true. Even with supplier production in Saudi Arabia, if those suppliers are Chinese entities they are still subject to a number of US regulations. A couple examples: 1) Cars imported to the US are not allowed to have connected electronics (bluetooth, wifi, ADAS hardware, etc.)...

Lucid's Future Amidst The Middle East Conflict

While this is going to be great for Lucid's European business due to competitive supplier pricing, it also means they'll likely have an expensive and complicated supply chain for the early production vehicles, which are slated for delivery in the US. They will no doubt have different supply...

    Gravity vs BMW iX5

There should just be a separate highway and city rating like ICE cars. Don't think we need to overthink this by asking folks to arbitrarily derate an all encompassing EPA range to closely match highway range.

I think these look pretty cool

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Oh and one other thing. The software isn't that intuitive coming from the Air. Took me a while to figure out how to change the music source (it's a small button with no label!) and couldn't figure out how to turn off the speed limit alert (it wasn't in the dream drive settings). They could...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Took delivery this past weekend of this 2027 MY. Very smooth experience and I'm happy with the car. I did a thorough inspection and there were no issues. A couple things that I wasn't expecting: (1) the dream drive button and x button need to be clicked in the center. You can't just click the...

    Gravity vs BMW iX5

I like the ix5. Not a car I'd get excited about, but it looks solid, has decent tech and is probably reliable.

From Highway Assist to Hands-Free-Assist & Lane change assist - An Air Positive review

I've used the Air system many, many times over long distances. Despite not being the most advanced system, it is generally very predictable. Predictability is key to trust and comfort.

    Target $0

In Westchester and will sometimes have days where I see more Gravity than Rivians. This is obviously anecdotal, but hope this indicates they're starting to get some traction.

    Target $0

They've fixed most of the vehicle issues that had turned people off from getting the Gravity, so I'm guessing their strategy is to get them into as many people's hands as possible via discounts to help improve brand image through word of mouth. They, of course, still need to fix corporate issues...

New Owner, Lucid Gravity GT 2026

I've seen multiple people say to turn regen off, but that approach doesn't really make sense IMO. The motors are able to adjust far more frequently than ABS systems, so using regen with careful accelerator modulation should be more effective in the snow.

    Automatic Headlighrs

Are you sure they're not adjusting brightness around the cars? They're not supposed to fully dim. They're just not supposed to shine the brights at incoming cars. Actual language from Lucid: Nighttime driving is now safer for you and everyone on the road, supported by Adaptive Driving Beam...

    Apple Key coming to Lucid

Agreed. I'd bet this is in the next software update.

    Question about HFDA

It's funny you mention this. I had the TAKE CONTROL NOW happen for the first time this past weekend driving on 95 in CT on relatively open roads. I then shook the wheel a few times but the car then said coming to a stop or something similar. That was a first and not really sure what caused it...

Lucid's Future Amidst The Middle East Conflict

I've enjoyed my Air (except for the key fob) and am looking forward to my Gravity. Reading posts here helped me decide to get a Gravity and I like to be helpful where possible when I see other owners posting about issues or questions. I'm also excited for their future software updates and...

Lucid's Future Amidst The Middle East Conflict

I'm sure it sucks, but I wouldn't use an enthusiast forum as an outlet for my frustrations.

Lucid's Future Amidst The Middle East Conflict

Genuine question: why are you on this forum? You seem to have made up your mind that you don't like the company or their cars. It's fairly unpleasant to see your persistent negative posts on every thread.
