That isn’t true. There are already features gated on CCCv2 in Air, like the Google Places integration. Infotainment is also faster, and regardless of UX3, there will undoubtedly be other features gated on CCCv2. But you do not have to buy it and can wait if you feel like it.

I am certain lots of people wish this were true. That would also make it harder to manage and may result in less useful feedback than a small, focused group. But I can definitely understand both sides.
