$340k+, 111KW pack with 300 mile range = 2.7m/kw efficiency.... this is like 00's ICE car which used to give around 18-20miles per gallon but rolled out now. i personally didnt like the rear design of this car.. i think lucid is class apart from everything that they have done.

i stopped considering lexus 10 years ago. Its just Toyota with little more insulation. Same engines and same efficiency. They dont believe in EV (and Honda too) and they have probably done this to say "been there, done that"..

does the charging has anything to do with AC to DC conversion at the supply level? i am assuming they would have some battery packs there carrying some power which will be transferred to the car in DC while the battery gets charged from the grid?? if it is so, then, slow charging could be due...

I got mine on lease and my residual is 65k. Capitalized cost was $117.5k. When I did my calc, it looked like the interest portion for 36 month was barely 5k. I went for leasing as the effective int rate was about 2%pa. Their lease deals are very good. I think they are trying to push out more...

I meant return on investment (ROI). For me it came to 15 years just for break even considering electricity cost with 3% increase year on year vs investment with 8% as cost of capital. Solar panel has a lifetime which varies and I had looked at one which had 15 years. Sorry about the confusion.

Last time I did ROI on solar, it didn’t make sense to me. You also have to consider interest portion on investment you do.

just go ahead.. dont second guess. if you are not sure, lease it and assuming some on great deal are still left. If by any chance you dont like it, you can return it in 18 or 36 months.
