Can’t manually turn on the vents in the 3rd row

the engineers at Lucid don’t seem to have kids because aside from the car being big and comfortable all the software is not kid-friendly at all. The 2nd row can’t move forward to give access to the 3rd row when there are 2 car seats or boosters. The 3rd row hvac can’t be manually turned on...

Can’t manually turn on the vents in the 3rd row

Were you sitting in the seat? There’s a sensor that turns on the 3rd row when you’re sitting, but booster seats and young children aren’t heavy enough or sitting in the right spot to trigger the sensor. Even when I set the setting to 10 in the 2nd row, the 3rd still stays off.

Can’t manually turn on the vents in the 3rd row

Does the 3rd turn on when you set the 2nd row to 5 or there’s just enough airflow from the 2nd row hitting the 3rd row? I found you can hit the Max setting and the 3rd row turns on, but I can only leave this on for a minute to cool the car down otherwise it’s too cold.

Can’t manually turn on the vents in the 3rd row

I’m so confused by this car. You cannot manually turn on the 3rd row hvac. I have kids sitting in the back seat and they’re overheating because the car’s sensors can’t detect them when they’re sitting in their booster seats. And there is no way to manually turn on the 3rd row HVAC. 🤯

    Gravity Radar Installation

For those with windshield mounted detectors, is there any way to mount it at the cutout section without blocking the visor? Will placing the detector just to the left of the visor be ok? It won’t have a direct line of sight through the cutout, but it would be about 2 inches left of the left...

    New Bugs Since 3.5.1

the software is definitely getting better. But it’s definitely frustrating that even the simplest things like remembering map preferences has not been implemented.

    New Bugs Since 3.5.1

First time experiencing this issue. HUD kept going haywire with the brightness. It was really distracting and dangerous to drive with on. I had to turn it off. Unable to upload the video. The website doesn’t finish the upload.

Request for Gravity 80A Home Charging Data (Software 3.3.20)

There’s been no improvement to charging with the Lucid Home Charger. I start at 19kW and within 30 minutes or so it’ll drop down to 15kw then down to 11kw.

Issues Gravity Software Updates Haven't Yet Fixed

Without the latch anchors, the seat will move around too much.

Issues Gravity Software Updates Haven't Yet Fixed

For a car seat yes. We were doing this. However now that my son is bigger and uses a booster seat, this is no longer an option. The only way to secure the booster to the car is via the LATCH anchors.

Issues Gravity Software Updates Haven't Yet Fixed

When operating the button to move the seats forward to access the 3rd row, the seat is able to move forward far more than if you simply use the seat move forward/backward adjustment button. Using the adjustment button I’m unable to move the seats forward any further forward than in the picture...

    Gravity 3.5.1

So far so good with the update. Nothing else seems to have broken yet. No other fixes though. In terms of CarPlay, I was never a fan of it for cars like these that have a robust infotainment system already. The resolution for CarPlay is far too large and pixelated. For such a large screen...

Connected Home Charger - Speed Decreasing on 100A Circuit

I have the NACS version. Not sure if that’s the culprit, but I’ve put in a service request for Lucid to look into it. I’m expecting to receive the run around as usual.

Issues Gravity Software Updates Haven't Yet Fixed

    1) Charging at home via the Lucid 80A charger is still not fixed with the latest updates. Charging throttles down from 19kW to 11kW within 45 minutes. 2) Cannot turn on 3rd HVAC when it’s occupied by 2 car seats. This is extremely dangerous and completely negligent on Lucid’s part. 3) When the...

    Lucid Gravity 3.4.4 Software Update

Got my car back from body shop with 3.4.4 installed. Tested out charging the car today and within 45 minutes, the charging throttled down from 19kW to 11kW. Really unfortunate that nothing has improved.

    Lucid Gravity 3.4.4 Software Update

I can’t confirm how the car is charging now with 3.4.4, but the car was at the body shop and I saw the car being charged at 21kW from 75-85% without dropping off. Once I get the car home today and run down the battery a bit I’ll charge on my home lucid NACS charger and report back here.
