I haven’t put one on the Gravity, I did have one on my Tesla. I don’t believe you are allowed to alter them, they are supposed to be a replacement for the physical plate. So same size. They are a pain to remove, I can tell you that much.

The Lucid mats only come with the passenger seat mats. Same with Liner X, if you want frunk/trunk mats you need to buy them separately. The trunk mat with a 7 seater would work with the seats folded down. But you’d need to constantly remove it every time you put the 3rd row up.

I don’t know, I took delivery in January of a lease. All I had to do was provide my insurance company and policy number. The Gravity didn’t need to be added before taking delivery. Just as easy as any other car I’ve purchased.

The latch anchors aren’t required unless it’s a rear facing child seat. The third row wasn’t made for rear facing seats, hence no latch anchors. Forgoing DHP saved me $6900. The $2900 cost of DHP and $4k to get the inventory vehicle discount. I’ll take the cash in my pocket. I did drive a Tacoma for a few years, so maneuvering the Gravity is easy without rear steer.

I understand that, when the owner gets back these may be troubleshooting steps to take. Instead of worrying that’s it’s bricked and needs to be towed. These could be options to try when possible.

Why though? This type of generic response doesn’t really help someone trying to decide between getting the DHP or not.

It could just be in a deep sleep if you haven’t tried to access it remotely in a while or driven it. Might be able to wake it up via the key fob or key card. I think Teslas have been known to do this occasionally.
