https://lucidowners.com/threads/connected-home-charger-speed-decreasing-on-100a-circuit.12334/ Ok fine to keep the technical stuff here but there is a thread with people voicing concerns over charger throttling. I only see throttling when charging above 56a.

LCC also wants to replace mine but wanted photos of the charge port on the car and the pins on the plug. Waiting to hear back still on the results of looking at the pins. Guessing I’ll know more Monday.

Connected Home Charger - Speed Decreasing on 100A Circuit

similar for me. it takes a good minute or two. i've never timed it though. most of the time that doesn't bother me as i use scheduled charging. however i'd really like to get the full 80a for those times i just want to top off before heading out somewhere.

Connected Home Charger - Speed Decreasing on 100A Circuit

My recommendation is for those using a different EVSE, contact Customer Care and work through them. I have a conversation open with Lucid Customer Care and I'm providing the info they are asking for. Once there is any sort of resolution, I'll be sure to share. Its not ideal to have to pay for...

@borski how did it go with the LCHCS replacement? My service guy maintains it’s the charger not the vehicle. He is putting me on touch with customer care to review

Connected Home Charger - Speed Decreasing on 100A Circuit

In my mind, unless there is some other variable correlating, so far the only thing is the charge rate. maybe we have to think about this differently. meaning temperature of the cabling.. I don't have the tools to measure the cabling temp and I'm not going to go buy it for this :). But, if its...

Connected Home Charger - Speed Decreasing on 100A Circuit

To my knowledge that is limited to 48a on a 60a circuit right? I don’t have any issues when I set the charge rate to 56a draw on my car. So if it happens to some at 48a then the plot thickens doesn’t it.

Connected Home Charger - Speed Decreasing on 100A Circuit

I haven’t been monitoring the LCHS software version. Any chance it was a software update on that? I’m not home right now but it maybe worth logging into its portal and grabbing its version. Will do so tonight or tomorrow

Thanks a bunch for freaking me out, Lucid!!! :-)

Thought the recall was on the all weather mats from the lucid store? And assumed they just were going to replace them on next service visit. Is it on the OEM floor mats?
