Feature request: use the shift stock to shift between smooth, swift & sprint

Today you tap the shifter down into drive. If tap it again nothing happens, it of course remains in drive. Here’s the idea: 1 tap = smooth 2 taps = swift 3 taps = sprint If you’re in sprint then 1 tap returns you to smooth, 2 tap to swift. This way while your driving you can shift...

Recent Reviews: Motor Trend and Car and Driver

Has anyone driven both the DE and new AGT and has a sense of what difference the front end suspension change feels like in real life for an everyday driver? I wonder if at least the software tuning will be retroactive back to the DEs.

Scary! But I finally tried it! AUTO-PARK!

How? I've had the same issue before, but didn't notice how to modify the orientation. Is it a selection that appears during the auto-park sequence?

EA stations disappeared in the NAV

Good to hear. I have the same issue. I thought it might be because I have a downloaded map that was stale. Looking forward to the fix.

    Media Event Reviews

Another observation. There have been three generations of windshields. The third generation apparently blocks more heat. I had the first generation swapped out for the 3rd gen. I thought it was much better. I'd assume the most recent reviews are based on the most recent generation of...

    Park Assist and Garages

The one pedal driving is a technique which requires a little practice to get to the point that you lift off the accelerator in same slow manner traditionally used when pressing the brake and easing to stop. Until a driver gets accustomed to it lifting off the accelerator quickly is like hitting...

    Park Assist and Garages

I found in the end I didn’t prefer using creep when parking. I have the regen braking set to high, and prefer lightly feathering the accelerator when parking which seemed for me to be more precise than using creep with my foot on the brake. I wonder if it’s because I’ve now fully adopted single...

How effective is your air conditioner?

That matches my experience as well. I think it should cool much faster than it does. My best guess is that it’s another trade off between performance and battery life.

Question about ACC and "Phantom Braking"

Completely agree. The SW fix I’d like is when I disengage the ACC it should not apply the regen until I touch brake or lift my foot from accelerator. (Could be an configurable option.)

    Authentication Error charging with EA

…funny at one point we had both EA support and LUCID support on a merged call at the same time. Once we resolved it (finally) we mentioned to LUCID they should give the heads up to EA Support to recommend the workaround of putting the car to sleep for 15 seconds. How did you resolve it in the end?
