I asked a few Lucid people at the factory family day event on Saturday about the RDU failures. I get the impression that failure cause is known and will likely be remedied with a software update. Lucid is definitely making this a high priority.

Sounds like you had a Drive Unit issue. Mine did the same but never recovered. Had to drive 50 miles on the freeway at 50 mph lol. not fun.
