The Changing EV Climate in the U.S.

I always support local businesses and try to avoid as much as possible from China, which is hard to do, but would never buy a car from China. US or Euro cars for me. 🙂

The Changing EV Climate in the U.S.

I think it is significant enough if you travel a lot like I do where every mile counts. And it really does matter if you are trying to grow EV market share past first adopters, since ICE has no drop in range, absolutely 0 for as long as you own the car. I definitely think it is an issue and...

The Changing EV Climate in the U.S.

EV’s will definitely struggle in North America now, especially in US with no subsidies. Even if subsidized again, the majority will not move to an EV, when ICE offers gas stations everywhere, are quick to fill up and gas is so cheap. Also, an ICE car never goes down in range the longer you...

Starting to see more and more Lucids

Not sure where OP is at, but in Ohio I did not see one Lucid at all in 2025. I know there are some here, but I have seen zero and I drive on the Ohio Turnpike and travel a lot. Wish I would see more and really like seeing them. Just a rarity here and the other States and parts of Canada I...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Definitely like the Range Rover exterior better, especially the rear end. Like both though. 🙂

    Cold weather road trip

Our BMW X5d barely loses any efficiency in cold weather, in fact none of our BMW’s ever have.

    One Year Ownership Review

Seriously doubt it on Tesla. I know of no Tesla owner that laments on that. Have owned a Model S for 4 years now and never had one software issue (my first EV/Tesla). And actually no issues on anything. There software is way ahead of their competitors. Love that it is constantly...

Consumer Reports 2026 Lucid Gravity Review

Totally agree with him. Majority of people will not want to do a reset on a $100k plus car or any car for that matter. Have never done that on any car I have owned.

Lucid Gravity Touring - Now Available

I would bet it most definitely will. Who knows what influence any tarriffs will have then too. There is absolutely no way it will cost more than the current IX, which is a bigger car. Base Cayenne is a total rip off and will not sell well, just like the current Macan does not sell well in...

Lucid Gravity Touring - Now Available

Hmm - are you in the US? As at least in the US, the iX3 will be starting around $60k. A quick google search will show plenty of articles saying that including BMW. Maybe you were joking though. 🙂

    BMW Earth competition

BMW is definitely stepping up its game and glad to see the release of the first Klasse designed BMW with a lot Klasse BMW’s on the way. Competition keeps making everyone better. Love BMW, so glad to see it.

Lease return excess wear & tear

Just wow. Lucid needs to get this figured out quickly, as I am sure they lease a large portion of their cars, at least while the $7500 incentive lasts and can’t afford to have the negative perception of something like worrying about lease turn in charges. Needs to be simple, like every other...

    2026 Air changeover date

Thanks - when ordering, interesting how it says DDP Fall availability.

    2026 Air changeover date

Totally agree. Before this year it seemed that most GT’s on the website came with DDP. This year not so many. Hope they start producing more once hands free is available. Wonder if they are just waiting for 2026 models?

Lease return excess wear & tear

I have leased most of my life and my wife always buys. I have never, ever been charged any excessive wear or tear with any BMW or Mercedes, especially if I lease another one. Of course, I take great a care of my cars and at BMW/Mercedes usually the sales person would handle lease turn in, so...

    Q2 ‘25 Production/ Deliveries

Will be curious of when the $7500 lease incentive goes away of what Lucid does and how it affects their sales numbers. That makes a big difference on a lease. Of course other EV’s mfg’s have the same issue, but think it really helped Lucid, since they are still just getting going.

CarPlay Ultra, the next generation of CarPlay, begins rolling out today

Not really. Did you see the list of cars coming out with it? I think car mfg’s are crazy if they don’t support that. There are many dedicated Apple people, my son included, who will only go that route, especially younger generation. We have all been waiting for next gen Carplay. Will be...

CarPlay Ultra, the next generation of CarPlay, begins rolling out today

I will only buy a car with Carplay Ultra for my next automobile now that this officially coming. I really thought Lucid would get it since they hired that Apple guy. Hope they do at some point. Surprised BMW is not getting this as they were at the forefront of Carplay at one point.

    2026 Predictions for Lucid Air

That is funny - I posted the same thing on Reddit and got the same type of response. I thought that was a reasonable expectation too. 🙂

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Agree still a supply issue and I find it hard to believe that tariffs could have caused any supply issue. The tariffs have only recently started, so there was plenty of time before to get correct parts for their vehicles. Very true on temporary. 😂
