Gravity UX 3.6.3 is rolling out

What I meant was all handles presented at the same time but prior to this update, my kids would have a lot of trouble getting the right “touch” to pull the handle and have the door open in one motion. They nearly ripped the handles off multiple times. It wasn’t an issue for me once I learned...

Favorite Gravity Feature of the Day

Okay. Been a while. Favorite today is the dynamic headlights or whatever they call them. Adaptive drive beam. They’re awesome. They adjust perfectly, no one is flicking me off for brights in their eyes and they’re magical with how well I can see at night. A haiku to show my appreciation: Lucid...

Gravity UX 3.6.3 is rolling out

My kids noticed doors opening easier/faster when getting in and HVAC changes. Fob is great so far. DDPro wasn’t an issue for me before but I did notice today it was a bit less annoying with reminders. LOVE not having to manually turn on second row HVAC for dog each time we get in. Like I...

Lots of Gravity inventory in Miami World Center garage.

Like you said, not available in the US so not especially relevant to me. Interesting though.

Lots of Gravity inventory in Miami World Center garage.

I don’t think any of the legacy automakers are closing the battery tech/efficiency gap. From what I see, they’re just packing in more batteries. I will be way over my lease allowance for miles so that will impact my decision at the end of the lease, as will company performance. That said, I...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Same here. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn’t. Having said that, I’ve had a couple of rental cars recently with wireless CP and it’s just as wonky as Gravity when connecting. My Gravity connects to CP most of the time.

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Yes. Happens to me randomly when I get out and back in after some time. I don’t have to re-pair, but do have to choose my phone again, etc. It’s strange but it’s very infrequent.

Favorite Gravity Feature of the Day

Fair point. I am generally big on UI but in this case, I could care less what the DD graphic looks like and more about whether it’s useful. It’s almost as if I’d trust the DD visualization more if it didn’t look so clean. 🤷‍♂️Regardless, I do enjoy the general Gravity UI.

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

FWIW - I’ve had zero issues with homelink since delivery in early August 2025. Again, I know it’s spotty and everyon’s experience has been different.

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Agree. And, at the same time, it’s night and day better than it was. Before you could start it from the app, I used to be terrified the fob just wouldn’t let me in and the key card was best friend (though it didn’t always work every time - which has since been fixed with the center console...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

That’s exactly it. It’s like magic to me and if I look really closely I can see it adjust the lights to not point at the one car. Really cool. But the lights stay super bright and, to your point, no one’s flashing me (at least not in the way I prefer 😉), so I believe it’s working well. Same...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Same for me. After months of continued shaking and battery replacements, and sometimes slow/delayed opening, my fob is 99.999% perfect now…that is, until I wrote this and jinxed myself. Seriously, yes, it was tough for a while, but Lucid seems to have overcome the fob issues completely...

Favorite Gravity Feature of the Day

Sorry, have to disagree strongly here. The DD visualization on Lucid looks “clean” but that’s because it doesn’t appear to actively map out or “see” the road. It’s like the old school video game overlay. Tesla may not look as clean, but its mapping everything in real time so you see it add...

    Lucid Gravity in the wild

Driving down 270 south from Frederick, MD today and had an Aurora, Platinum with what looked like the 22/23 on them pass me with VA plates. Made me realize I really enjoy the design on the front and back. I don’t often get to see a Gravity from outside as I am driving mine! I probably see 3-4...

    Driving Awareness issues after update?

No. I am saying DDPro hands free is working perfectly AND the eye monitor works well. It’s just very sensitive and warns me very quickly if I look away. But if I am watching the road, it’s great and there’s no false warnings. Drove 650 miles last week or so on highways and it worked perfectly.

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Interesting. The front and back doors have the special glass. It could be something where the OTA greatly rescues the false positives that cause the window to go down once it starts going up and thinks it’s hitting something. IDK, as with most bugs here, they’re not experienced by everyone...

    Frunk not opening correctly

I tried the rubber bumper adjustments and they worked a bit. But the double open issue always came back. The actual problem was finally fixed when they replaced one of the struts on my frunk. Works perfectly now.

    QUESTION Prospective buyer questions

Agree 100% with @borski and I am 21,000+ miles into my Gravity journey since August 2025. We also have an R1S - they’re really not comparable (to me). My wife drives the R1S. Gravity has noticeably more cargo space in real life and on paper and it is the only car where my kids will sit in...

Is full self driving being developed for Gravity?

FWIW, I agree in general, but find the reporting in Waze by folks to be much better and used more often than Google Maps. Waze still has quite a following and even though I know it’s Google, I won’t use Google Maps and Apples Maps is a crapshoot so might as well use Lucid Nav if I get to that point.

Is full self driving being developed for Gravity?

Both Apple and Google Maps offer a full route overview in CP if you want them. Waze does not, for whatever dumb reason.
