    I just canceled my order

Yes I was thinking of the sedan, had no idea the SUV had the same name. I can't think of any other car/SUV combo that have shared the same name before.

    I just canceled my order

Ohh didn't realize the SUV and the Sedan have the same name, strange.

Ouch! While you have my sympathies for the financial hit, I still get the feeling (not scientific) that very little effort goes into policing HOV lanes in the Phoenix metro area.

    I just canceled my order

Before you commit to the EQS, do yourself a favor and watch the various Youtube reviews of it. For the reviews I've seen, it has been overwhelmingly knocked for its driving behavior. Software can be fixed with over the air updates, driving dynamics cannot. Also, I would expect the EQS to...

Yeah, that drives me nuts too. This time of year, when all the snowbirds have migrated back, I have to use Zen meditation when driving not to lose it over those people sitting in the left lane and pacing the car in the right.

They probably figure that the "What I can't drive in the HOV lane anymore?!" excuse is worth at least one warning. I also am not sure there is any enforcement. In my 2 years here I've not seen a single person pulled over for what appeared to be an HOV lane violation. With how dark tint is...

My Gravity bricked after 3 weeks of ownership

The term "bricked" is not accurate in this context, at least in my understanding of that term. I understand "bricked" to mean the vehicle is not serviceable and not repairable (only good for scrap and part-scavenging). While having a defective battery that needs to be replaced is certainly a...

Consumer Reports 2026 Lucid Gravity Review

On the Porsche software, remember that VW/Audi/Porsche scrapped their whole software program and instead paid $5Billion to access someone else's (Rivian iirc) because they realized EV software is hard. For $5B it better be "rock solid".

Consumer Reports 2026 Lucid Gravity Review

I'm totally cool with him posting a bitch fest about an understandably annoying bug, provided he also posts videos about the stuff he likes, which of course he doesn't.

Consumer Reports 2026 Lucid Gravity Review

Wasn't the Out of Spec review of the Gravity overwhelmingly positive? You can't compare a Consumer Reports review to an Out of Spec review. CR is known to be harsh on everything it reviews.

Just received a Stop Driving your Gravity phone call from Lucid Service? Anyone else getting this call?

So you'd rather have a vehicle from a company that does not try to proactively identify potential issues before they become catastrophic failures? Put it a different way, would you rather have the car fail in the middle of that 3.5 hour drive and be stuck on the side of the highway or worse?

ADIOS LUCID: I really hate to make this post but after only two months of ownership, my '23 Lucid AT is gone.

I've had zero problems with mine or with local service. Just thought I'd make a peep from the 90+% of people who are perfectly happy.

    Aftermarket Wheels for Gravity

For the front wheel tire combo, you might be able to get away with more offset (i.e. pushing the rim outward) by going with a narrower tire and giving the front suspension a lot of negative camber like the guys who "slam" their cars do (mainly joking): By the way, I think those wheels you...

Lucid Reports Sales In Q3 Earnings Call - Leadership Updates - Playing to Win

Your point is demonstrated by how differently the same earnings were reported by other outlets, for example: https://www.autonews.com/lucid-motors/an-lucid-reports-net-loss-q3-earnings-and-gravity-progress/ Lucid Motors Q3 net loss narrows to $978 million; revenue surges 68% ahead of EV tax...

Lucid Intends to Deliver First Level 4 Autonomous EVs for Consumers with NVIDIA

Just because Tesla is an outlier when it comes to risk tolerance, does not mean that their approach is acceptable. If other companies were willing to take such risks with their customers, there would be a lot more systems out there capable of Tesla's level of self-driving. Don't get me...

Lucid Intends to Deliver First Level 4 Autonomous EVs for Consumers with NVIDIA

99% of car manufactures believe that using only visible light sensors is foolish, only Tesla thinks it's an acceptable solution. Visible light alone is dangerous (it is impacted by rain, shadows, sunsets/sunrises, fog, etc.) and there is no reason not to cross check it with other sensors like...

[Everyday Chris] I Tested the Lucid Gravity vs Tesla Model X vs Rivian R1S

What is the "it" you are talking about? Which feature did they shove in everyone's face that's not available. Legit question, not trying to be argumentative.
