I have a 23 Touring with the glass canopy so it's not an exact match, but I thinted all my glass & installed the roof shades. I tried it without the shades for awhile, but since I spend the half the year in FL I am glad I got the roof shades.

Very true. Lots of interior room is great, but non-highway European roads aren't designed for U.S. size cars.

Ughhhhh!! My condolences. I think you could be right about it being expensive. Anything more complicated than replacing a windshield wiper blade seems to start at several thousand $$$ :)
