    Hi Everyone

Congrats on your new ride. And welcome. Good on you for being smart enough to buy pre-owned, too. Sounds like you got a good one.

    Dreamdrive pro vs premium

No difference between 22 Pro and 26 Pro. They just made it optional in more recent years. It was standard on the original GTs. Pro adds hardware that Premium doesn't get. More cameras, LiDAR, Radar, etc. So if you go Premium, you will not be able to upgrade to Pro. Basically, newer features...

New rim option for the Air?

I like the new 19s. I still like the 20s best. Worth noting, the Aeronauts will cost you about 35 miles of range compared to the Aero Range. Which is why they kept those old 19s around. They needed a wheel that looked better and still allowed for all-season tires. These fit the bill nicely.

    Easy Entry and Seat Adjustment

I believe you have to open the door maybe? I don’t use the feature.

    That’s a really bad assumption.

Lease return excess wear & tear

You don’t punish a corporation. You refuse to continue doing business with them. Live and learn. Best way to send a message to a business is to stop giving them money. Besides, it’s BoA’s egregious behavior. Lucid could start looking for another financial partner. And I hope they are. But our...

Lease return excess wear & tear

As a moderator, a stockholder, and someone who has a Touring lease coming to an end in December, believe me, I have a vested interest in seeing this situation resolved. We all like to support the brand and the team, many of whom I have met and like personally. But being supportive includes...

Adaptive Cruise - why does it require manual intervention from 0mph to resume driving in stop-and-go traffic

Yeah, that's all up to the individual. I only use HA on longer trips, and mostly on pretty straight highways where I just want to give my foot a rest. I, too, would never trust any ADAS system. I use them. But I don't trust them.

Approaching stopped traffic with Adaptive Cruise Control active

Oh, how I wish this were an option for me. I suppose it's possible Lucid wrote all that in the manual because they were afraid of being sued. Or, you know. It could be that they were simply stating facts about the current capabilities of the car. Who's to say which is more likely? I'm going...

    Gravity test drives?

I didn't find them any worse than the Air. But they can cause a bit of an issue, to be sure. People always complain about the thickness, but I think it's the angle that causes the biggest issue. The price you pay for optimizing aerodynamics, I guess.

    2.7.1 CarPlay and Spotify Problems

I've definitely had more issues with CarPlay since 2.7 and 2.7.1 It was working perfectly for me for a long time prior to those two updates. Now it's sort of hit or miss if CarPlay will activate when I get into the car. I often have to tap a few times to get it going. I don't use Spotify, so...

Approaching stopped traffic with Adaptive Cruise Control active

@segbrk said just about all I would say about the technical details of why you are extraordinarily mistaken on all accounts. I will add that this is not how we treat other people on this forum. I suggest reading the guidelines and adjust your tone accordingly. We’re here to help each other...

    Lucid delivered my car damaged

Yeah, except once your lawyer gets involved, their lawyers have to get involved, and everything gets drawn out, and most of the remedies available to a customer service liaison are largely off the table. You end up in mounds of paperwork and at the end of the day lose a lot of your leverage. It...

    2026 Air changeover date

I suspect they made an estimated guess on how many people would go for DDPro, and ended up selling out of those vehicles faster than anticipated. Estimates are tough. I would hope with handsfree making its way to Air soon that they will ship a lot of 2026 cars with Pro installed.

Approaching stopped traffic with Adaptive Cruise Control active

Pretty sure Lucid has never said ACC is meant for city streets / roads with occasional traffic lights. I know you CAN turn it on in some instances on those roads, but they make pretty clear in the manual that you are responsible for stopping for cars at red lights. They call many of these ADAS...

Adaptive Cruise - why does it require manual intervention from 0mph to resume driving in stop-and-go traffic

You may change your tune when hands-free driving comes starting a little over a week from now*. That feature is almost guaranteed to require the camera being able to see your eyes. *As announced by Lucid recently in a press release. Actual release date may vary.

More phantom braking in the last month or so ...

Wow. So sorry to hear of all the folks who are having this issue. I had to give up on using all ADAS software on my Model 3 because it would constantly phantom brake, so I totally get the frustration. It was the number one reason why I would never consider another Tesla. (There are other...

    What would you change?

At first I didn't get that you meant the seat motors. I was going to say, there is NOTHING wrong with either of the motors that make this car go. Pretty much all aspects of the actual driving dynamics are spot on perfect. The seat motors, yeah. I see what you mean. They are a bit noisy. And...

New Member Here - Question about Rear Seat/Floor Height in GT

True. I have sat in a GT for a while, and it was fine for me at 6’2”. The few people I’ve heard complain were actually shorter people, because of the increased seat angle. I suppose I’m already used to all chairs leaving my knees higher than I’d like.

New Member Here - Question about Rear Seat/Floor Height in GT

The way someone put it years ago stuck with me: take the floor of the Touring. Stand a credit card up long wise. Now put your foot on that credit card. That’s the height difference, roughly.
