    Test drive in Seattle

Yeah, if there aren’t passengers in the third row, drop the headrests back there. Makes a big difference.

    Lane departure vibration sounds terrible

I left the vibration but turned off the “assistance’ back into the lane. I agree, it does more harm than good when you actually need to be out of the lane. Which in city driving happens a lot. I put up with the vibration because I hate having the constant warning light when it’s completely off.

    What would you change?

Interesting that you like the two tone in the Air. I do as well, but a LOT of people complained about it. Thus the decision to do otherwise with Gravity. I do think the switch to all black carpets was a good idea. But I’d love to see the seats in two different colors again. It’ll be...

Silly girl question--where do you put a bag/briefcase?

Behind the pilot panel would be more useful if there were a door or something to cover what's in there. Since you can visibly see inside that compartment from outside the car, I'm afraid to store too many things of value there. I do put my sunglasses deep down in there, since those are hidden...

First Road Trip in My Gravity Dream Edition

I find that so strange. Granted, I’ve mostly spent my time at EA stations, where everyone is always checking out other people’s cars, asking about them, etc. Especially a new, relatively rare one. Maybe Tesla folks are so used to seeing nothing but other Tesla’s that they’ve stopped paying...

Lucid Revealing a New Gravity Variant at Monterey Car Week

Interesting, if that turns out to be the case.

What’s wrong with your Lucid today?

Normally, I’d say audio just plain stopping would be a connection issue. It buffers the file as it streams, and if it loses connection, it just plain stops when it runs out of buffer. But you are experiencing this on both the native car apps and in CarPlay. So that would mean both your phone AND...

Lucid Revealing a New Gravity Variant at Monterey Car Week

Eh. The whole X thing is so Elon these days. I would not have gone there myself.

    Changes to Driver side screen?

Correct. That side of the center screen cannot be changed other than to switch between since last and the current trip. Other warnings and alerts will also appear there as needed. You asked for permanent battery percentage, but that is only available in the center. As you evidently already know.

What’s wrong with your Lucid today?

I don't think anyone is trying to shut down your experience. You asked "What's wrong with YOUR Lucid?" And they are telling you. Nothing. That's valuable information. It means not everyone is experiencing the same issues as you. If your title had been "Help me with my Lucid issues" and then...

    Reverse Split

I generally don’t invest in a company unless I believe in what it’s doing and that the board knows what it’s doing. Thus, I very rarely vote against any measures suggested by any board of any company of which I hold shares. If I didn’t think the board knew better than I do what is good for...

Lucid Revealing a New Gravity Variant at Monterey Car Week

I’m no marketing expert, but calling a car Ocean at this point would be a very bad idea. Just ask Fisker. And I’m well on the record already for this, but Earth would be the dumbest name for a vehicle in automotive history. I refuse to believe they will call any car Earth. Anything is...

    Ground Clearance

Most of the inventory cars are 2025s at this point. And they’ve sold out of DDPro equipped ones. Thus the wait for the 2026 models. They just announced those.

    Lucid charging service disabled

I’m guessing most of that time was spent from 80-89%. The charging curve is going to slow down significantly when the battery is that full.

West Coast Customs x Lucid - GTP - Wow!

I know I’m in the minority here, but that forward bear just verifies that Peter was right to me. Looks wrong.

    2.8.0 Software Update

Yep. It’s almost as if all those “robustness” updates they do from time to time that we like to make fun of actually bear fruit now and then. They could not have done this sort of thing remotely a year ago.

Final bill from Lucid financial Services (Lease end)

No. Some of us in the early days were given a cable with the car. They later made it an accessory you had to purchase separately. Even if you bought it with a “credit” you should not have to return it. Only if it was included with the car. As it was in my case.

Gravity vs. Ioniq 9 vs. Buzz

I, for one, just want to see more options. Always more options. A flooded EV market is good for everyone.

Gravity vs. Ioniq 9 vs. Buzz

It's sort of like comparing Shake Shack to a swanky steak house. Both are good. Both will send you home with a full belly. But they just aren't in the same ballpark in terms of what you're paying for. And that's fine. It's almost silly to compare them. Of course the ionic is a better value...

    2.8.0 Software Update

No. That setting doesn't need to be on. But the same camera that is used to detect your drowsiness is being used for hands free. So it does need to be able to see you. And you have to actually watch the road. It's pretty strict about not gazing out to the sides or looking at your screens.
