I just want to confirm again that after a few days of testing there is no more battery drain after updating android phone app to 2.4.1. I used the app to wake up the car. Open the car. Left the app running without closing or force stopping. Turn on wifi in the car in the anticipation of 2.7.0...

#2 Has just been resolved with the 2.4.1 version available to download in the play store.

No need to force stop the phone app with 2.4.1. I verified and in 2 separate occasions the car goes to sleep in about 8 minutes without closing the app.

Please pass our thanks to developers for finding a root cause and pushing the fix in just a few days.

I just downloaded new version 2.4.1 (3888) from play store. Woke up the car using the app. I will not force stop it and will report in the morning if any battery drain occurs.

Looks like Lucid devs are reading the forum by providing the same solution we came up with several posts back. At least they are aware of the issue and hopefully fix will come soon. Fingers crossed.

Another thing to add that I noticed. I am using the widget app on the main screen on the phone. When the drain happens the normally grayed out buttons to unlock, charge, frunk, trunk would be functional. Also the last updated time would keep updating every few minutes. If I see icons active...

Changing the app to either optimized or restricted phone battery mode seems to stop the drain. Until you open the app and sometimes the app would change the permissions on its own from restricted to optimized or optimized to unrestricted. I do not know when and how it happens as it seems random...

Any charging option will be fine as long as you try to keep it between 20%-80%. It's even fine to go 15%-85% as long as it's not for extended period of time and outside temperatures are mild. Level 2 charging is perfectly fine. Heck even Level 3 is shown fairly safe for the battery as long as...
