    My GT battery degradation

Forget the miles shown they aren't accurate. As others have already written just use the SOC % and your actual mi/lkWh realized and do the math. This is the best way to determine how far you can actually go.

    Lucid air vs my m5

Yeah I didn't realize the OP was driving a RWD Pure. My observations are based on my Dream P, the track session in the GTP, and my experiences with the loaners which have been GT's and Tourings. I didn't really press the Touring model so again I can't comment accurately on that version of the...

    Lucid air vs my m5

I suspect the original poster on this thread was running something less than our 21" with Pirelli summer tires. If in fact he is running the 19" All Season then no doubt he is not making a fair comparison to the M5 or the Lucid with 21" tires. Big difference in handling especially on twisties...

    Lucid air vs my m5

I drove my friend's i4 and my opinion it is a nice EV but no comparison in any way to my Lucid.

    Lucid air vs my m5

Just curious; what size wheels/tires? I tracked a 911 on every track in CA so I know something about car handling. I had the pleasure of going around Laguna Seca (a track I ran my 911 on multiple times) in an Air GTP with 21" wheels and Pirelli PZero summer tires with a professional driver...

    More free advertising for Lucid

Yeah it would be cool to see Steve McQueen (I know) driving your Zenith Red Dream Edition at high speeds through the San Francisco city hills. Hopefully he can avoid the potholes while going airborne!!

Hope for V2H (at least in California?)

California Governor Newsom just signed a bill that supposedly is encouraging V2H/V2G for EVs. Not sure if the holdup is PG&E, Lucid, or something else?? But in any case, having both our EV's available to supply power to our home or if appropriate to the Grid could be advantageous.

Wifi disconnects when car sleeps and doesn't reconnect

So my question is if the car is asleep in my garage and therefore not connected to my wi-fi when an OTA update is sent out, does that mean it is relying on a weaker LTE signal to receive the OTA update?

    Air music audio balance observation

Interestingly when listening to a Dolby Atmos recording on Tidal I don't believe you can adjust the audio settings???

"Lucid’s Tech is Unmatched—But What About the Customer Experience?"

My initial experience at the Valley Fair Lucid "Store" with Yusuf Kadermia in March, 2021, when I placed my deposit up to and through the delivery in March 2022 and continuing with my experiences with Christopher Robinson and Ron Reyes and their team at the Millbrae Center have been far beyond...

Can't come soon enough for me. Been waiting almost three years.

Taycan Turbo GT goes 0-60 in 1.9, beating Lucid Air Sapphire

The Trofeos vs the Lucid Sapphire stock tires will make a difference at the Nurburgring. I'm much less interested in 0-60 times but the overall results on the Nordschieif (North Loop) of the Nurburgring (just under 13 miles long) is an excellent measure of a car's overall performance...

Taycan Turbo GT goes 0-60 in 1.9, beating Lucid Air Sapphire

Tires do make a difference. While the stock tires on the Sapphire are outstanding they will not match the much softer compound "track" tires that I suspect the Taycan was equipped with. The Nurburgring is a very long track and thus the track tires could account for a significant difference in...

New Owner - Car Enthusiast is Exuberant!

Nice write up. I'm also a car enthusiast. Thank you for your service I am also an Army veteran. I too have owned numerous American, German and Japanese cars during my lifetime and the Lucid is by far the best overall. It is still a very young company that is constantly evolving and has not...

Lucid Air as a car to teach my teenage daughter driving?

The thick A pillar is an issue that you need to take into account. As you move forward to a "T" intersection with free flowing traffic (no stop signs) it can block cars coming from either the left or the right. So my solution is to move more slowly in those situations until I can clearly make...

Taycan Turbo GT goes 0-60 in 1.9, beating Lucid Air Sapphire

I actually really like the looks of the Taycan (but not the Turismo which to me just looks like a low slung station wagon). The back seat in the Taycan is terrible but that wasn't really a concern for me as I never intended to be in the back seat.

    Getting good numbers

I'm probably not the right person to comment on "efficiency" since I don't really think about it when I'm driving. My Trip A and B efficiency has always been right around 3.1 and I haven't seen any difference with the latest update. That said I haven't driven all that far since updating.

Taycan Turbo GT goes 0-60 in 1.9, beating Lucid Air Sapphire

Having owned four Porsches over my years and tracked my 911 for five years on every road course in CA, I have a tremendous respect for Porsche engineering and the performance of their cars. If it hadn't of been for the Burlingame Porsche dealer screwing with me at the last minute, I would have...

Lucid Air as a car to teach my teenage daughter driving?

I love my Dream Performance Lucid and I especially appreciate my ability to pass quickly and safely when I need to do so. However, would I want an inexperienced driver having my 800+ horsepower (in Smooth Mode) available for that person to utilize? NO!!!
