Yay, Tesla charging … July 31!

I ordered mine with points but they charged me 2750 points instead of the 1800 points now in the Rewards Store. I contacted them and requested they issue me a points refund for the difference (plus tax) but they haven't responded thus far.

Yay, Tesla charging … July 31!

I think the fitted foam housing for the Adapter is excellent and probably better than a flimsy cloth or plastic case in my opinion. I intend to just leave it in its nice Eureka Gold box and inside the shipping box it came in for even more protection. Reality is I doubt I will ever use it as...

    Pirelli lm1 vs lm2

So as I mentioned above the LM1 tires haven't been manufactured for at least 2 or 3 years so if you do go with LM1 you are buying a tire that has been sitting in inventory for a long time. That said, America's Tires is still having difficulty obtaining the LM2 tires in 21" sizes.

    Hyundai Free NACS Adapter

I did receive the free adapter from Hyundai for our Genesis GV60. I also opted to purchase the Lucid adapter using my points. Hyundai has made it clear that using any other adapter than the one they provided can void the warranty and I expect Lucid may do the same. The GV60 will charge at 97...

    San Francisco Bay Area Owners

Its about 235 miles and there is a lot of uphill driving. At 80 mph and the mountains I doubt you'd get more than 2.5 mi/kWh. So 235 miles divided by 2.5 miles/kWh would approximate needing 94 kWh of battery. So you could probably make it but not sure why you'd want to push it. Just make a...

Lucid Air's Number One Software Issue?

I think the number one software or possibly software/hardware issue is the phantom braking. This could result in a serious rear end collision if the driver is not quick enough on the accelerator to override the unexpected braking action.

More phantom braking in the last month or so ...

Its not always with a truck on a curve. I've also had it with a bicyclist on my right on a regular 40 mph two lane road when I'm in the right lane.

More phantom braking in the last month or so ...

You need to document time and location if you can. I am doing the same as my phantom braking is also continuing.

    Home Charger Recommendation?

Just a couple of months ago I was told by a senior executive that it will be here before year end. As you mentioned scal we have heard this many times before. That said, I do like the LCHCS very much; it does a quick job of charging my Dream.

    Punching in...

I had all my windows and top glass tinted. I also recently purchased the Lucid shades including the windshield and the upper glass front and rear. To be honest I'm not sure if the shades really made much of a difference. Interior still gets hot sitting all day in a parking lot.

Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

If you aren't going to buy the car at the end of the lease I can't see any reason to do the upgrade.

    Looking for advice

Not positive but I do believe if you do a lease you can get the $7500 credit as a reduction in Cap cost.
