If I'm not mistaken, the issue is they'll have to cover registration fees as well because you'll need to register the car and then they'll buy it and register it. Here in Georgia that means you'll have to pay sales tax on it twice.

He’s referring to the comment at the top of the thread about Touring coming with LIDAR. It will with DDPRO, but not with just DD. I heard the same thing and as Jerseystrong said, it’s about how the sentence was worded.

Guessing that it actually relates to the software limitations on the motors. Motors are most efficient when they’re running at full speed. Since the output of the Pure motors is being software limited, that would most likely be what is affecting efficiency.

Touring could also have the largest delta between real world driving and epa range since they’re quoting 4.6 or something for efficiency.
