Here you go fellas! Lucid Air SC network will be enabled

Never disagreed with a statement more in my life. Show me a Air getting 250kw for any length of time. Your post implies that all charging will take 5 times longer, and that's just not true. It'd be a shame for people to rule out this option based on this information.

Here you go fellas! Lucid Air SC network will be enabled

Yes, it's important to know if you're working with DC or AC as the starting point as that determines which adapter you'll need.

Here you go fellas! Lucid Air SC network will be enabled

My point is that assuming most of your driving is local (not road trips), then the home charging cost largely drives the total cost of charging over longer periods of time.

Here you go fellas! Lucid Air SC network will be enabled

The announcement specifically said ALL models of Air. I wouldn't worry too much.

Here you go fellas! Lucid Air SC network will be enabled

Thanks for the link. Just checked the pricing for the nearest Tesla supercharger.... I'll pick some random ones further from the house and see if the cost differential between peak and off-peak is always that high. Thus far I've done nearly 20k miles without ONCE wishing we had Supercharger...

Here you go fellas! Lucid Air SC network will be enabled

Thanks for the info. If you're going to do the cost comparison to ICE, it's important to include the more common use case of filling at home. How much the gas at the pump in your garage? *mic drop* :)

Here you go fellas! Lucid Air SC network will be enabled

    I'm sorry, that was a poorly-worded question...I know it's 50kw for the charging rate....I meant the price.

Issues with EVGO on road trip

Send the date/time to Lucid, perhaps, so they can pull data and dig into the charging error? I would've placed a call to EVGo at the time if they had a service number, although I imagine their CSR's don't get much more debugging info and can only perform station resets.

Here you go fellas! Lucid Air SC network will be enabled

Looks like it's billed through the Lucid app to the card on file. Anyone know what the rate will be, or does it vary across locations?

More phantom braking in the last month or so ...

Following up on a couple of observations in this thread, I specifically tested Drive Assist from middle lane, overtaking an 18 wheeler that was in the right lane,. I approached it as we were going through a left turn. Zero issues. Edit: this was at night, for reference.

Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

I think it's safe to assume that if both could be easily updated, then that's what they would've offered. I recall when they first started talking about the hardware differences between the 2025 vehicle and older vehicles, people asked the upgrade question and were told, "it's not a given that...

Drive Assist and Cars Cutting In

A reminder regarding higher speed driving, the follow distance is already relative to the speed being driven, it's not an absolute length.

    Uber and Lucid

When you start posting a new thread, the forum shows you a list of topics that MIGHT be related that already exist. There are already a couple of threads on this:, here is the main one, the other one is closed, and this will be soon, too: https://lucidowners.com/threads/lucid-partnership.12907/...

Driving Comparison of the three "cheap" Airs (Pure, Touring and Grand Touring)

Fantastic review overall. Only thing I'd like to point out as a GT owner is that I practically never do formal launches (ie, launch mode). At the light, I use whatever power is required to be away from everyone else as they're pulling off the line, I prefer not to have cars around me whenever...

    Lucid partnership

Another article here from Uber's site: https://investor.uber.com/news-events/news/press-release-details/2025/Lucid-Nuro-and-Uber-Partner-on-Next-Generation-Autonomous-Robotaxi-Program/default.aspx Love the sales, but my subjective perception of robotaxis thus far is that the rollouts haven't...

Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

The installation process doesn't take that long...but when you add the lead-time for sourcing the part, evidently it does. I'm very, very confused why they're handling it that way. Unless I'm missing something very obvious, then even if they want to order the parts "just in time," they should...

Hands free Drive Assist! Jul 30. Air first!

I've encountered a couple of oddities in several hours of use...but NONE where my hands being on the wheel vs sitting on my lap would've made shred of difference. On that basis, I disagree that hands off is useless until the oddities are resolved. Perhaps your observations have been different to...

    let's talk about folding mirrors

it's not a delay, it simply ignores the click (as described), typically when pulling into the driveway. If I'm parked in the garage about to back out, I deliberately use a longer dead-center click since I'm not operating the vehicle at the time.
