That's my plan for the Gravity I have on order. If I didn't have dogs, I might well seek a smaller vehicle than a Gravity. On the flip-side, the low entry height is big plus as the dogs get older.

I imagine the Gravity will complain endlessly if you drive with the rear door open. I probably wouldn't want to do it at all at highway speeds.
