    Floor mats!

I received my 3D mats yesterday and am very happy with how they look. I did find one interesting feature. Someone complained here that their genuine Lucid mats had rivets holding the Lucid logo on and those rivets had rusted, leaving stains on the carpet. The 3D mats also have a logo riveted...

    Electrify America Issues

Get the phone apps PlugShare and A Better Route Planner. Both are better at finding charging stations than the Lucid's built-in nav. And you can check reviews on PlugShare to see if a given charger has been working for people.

Anyone buy their car and have Lucid register it with their Montana LLC?

My dad used to sell auto insurance as an independent agent. He had lots of stories of people who played games with registering or insuring cars in places other than where they were actually used. And when those people had a major claim, the insurance company would refuse coverage and cancel...

    Electrify America Issues

Just to present another experience: charging largely just works for me. I've charged at EA maybe 30 times in the 4 months I've had my Lucid, and all but one time it has worked. I've used ChargePoint and EVGo too. I've done several road trips in my Lucid and don't hesitate to take it.

Has anybody tried to connect to the ethernet port yet?

I watched a Lucid technician plug a standard laptop into that ethernet port. Electrically it is ethernet. No idea what software is needed to communicate with the car.

    Trouble at the Garage

Someone reported in another thread that the fob isn't always recognized when dropped into a cup holder. That's probably what the garage staff is doing, rather than having it in a pocket.

    Adapting to Regenerative Braking

I had no problem adjusting to one pedal driving, but I hate not having the home button on my iPhone. Bad analogy. Part of what love about the Lucid is the number of physical controls that they have retained.

    Mirror Folding - Works occasionally

I usually have to hit it twice. But every now and then that's not needed, and hitting the button twice (which I do by habit) I see the mirrors start to fold, then go back out. The lack of consistency is more annoying than having to double-press the button.

    Pilot panel won’t stay down

That arrow normally points up. When you request the pilot panel to retract, it rotates as the panel starts to retract. If the arrow isn't pointing up, the car is trying to retract the panel.

Tire blow out and jack point

I drive a lot of places with no cell service. So I got a third-party spare that I always carry.

    Cancellation experience

I find it appropriate that they will not cancel your order without talking to you. Someone trying to mess with you could cancel your order without your knowledge. And they may want to confirm how the deposit is being returned. It isn't necessarily about trying to talk you out of canceling...

Time for something fun: a car memory test

I'm jealous of the number of people who still have several cars on their list. I'd have more cars if I had space for them. We are paying monthly rent on garage space for the third "summer weekend car" beyond our two daily drivers.

Time for something fun: a car memory test

I keep my cars a while: 1985 Nissan Sentra 1992 Honda Accord 2000 Audi A4 1978 VW Beetle Convertible (still have) 2015 Audi A3 2022 Lucid Air GT (still have)

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

Now that I have had my AGT for 4 months, I have an observation about mileage. It started good if you drove really consevatively (the first weekend I drove the Lucid alongside our 45 year old vintage car with no acceleration, and got 4.2 mi/kwh). Driving more aggressively, the mileage was OK...

I was just in Fiji and didn't see a single EV. The Toyota I rented sure didn't drive like my AGT.

    Slippery Roads

I just did my first drive on a seriously slippery road, and the car did fine on 19" wheels with the factory all-season tires. We visited friends in rural Vermont where the last few miles to their house is unpaved roads up into the hills. We had been watching the weather, afraid that there...

    Door trim figment issue

I noticed mine looking like that at one point, and discovered that if I pushed on it carefully, I could get the trim piece to slide back in forth through the channel that held it. I slid it back 1/4 inch to be properly aligned, and it has stayed there since then.

    Refund on order?

While I dislike the incessant arguing about this, I do agree that the wording with "compatible" is highly misleading. I read it to mean that they have carplay, and was surprised to later learn that they do not yet. As an example, Tesla is carplay compatible. It has the capability to...
