Lease return excess wear & tear

I have gotten very, very tired of corporate doublespeak and phony apologies. People were NOT "inconvenienced", they were overcharged US dollars. From what I have seen on this forum, B of A appears to have been very consistent, not inconsistent, in overcharging for what should be considered...

End of Lease - Final Payment under collections

It makes me wonder: when B of A does that, does it negatively impact on the lessee's credit rating? And he joined in January of 2024 so he is relatively new here. Assuming Lucid is innocent, B of A has really screwed up Lucid's reputation and possibly its future sales.

    $30K Lease for a Car I Can’t Drive — Lucid Ghosted Me

I understand your pain and sympathize with it. But you may be the only person with this problem which does suggest that somehow the problem is not a design or build problem but an interaction between you and the vehicle. If it were me, I would be looking for doctors who love a puzzle and...

Too old to own an EV? Never

I am 80 and I think EVs are at least as easy to drive as ICE vehicles with one possible exception. The push by automakers toward "minimalist" interior design is IMHO awful and has been used most often for EVs rather than ICE vehicles. At least for luxury vehicles, such as Lucids, give us...

Lease return excess wear & tear

This post is right on. There is a reason that so many sellers have been using "influencers" to goose sales; public reactions on social media to products has become a major reason why some brands are beginning to fail and others are prospering. This kind of publicity is not good for Lucid.

Lucid Air as a home battery backup

Hyundai corp (Hyundai, Kia, Genesis) has figured it out. It is doable; the question is whether that is a priority issue for Lucid and I suspect it is not. V2L is a decent alternative if one doesn't often get blackouts as one can use it to power refrigerators, etc.

Lease Ending - Buy or Upgrade to 2025?

Good point. Probably more so with cars like Lucids and Teslas which update at somewhat random times rather than an annual update like classic car companies. But an extended test drive in the vehicle you are thinking of purchasing would resolve that issue. Of course, not so easy to do if the...

    Build quality concerns

I would never ever accept that response. I would escalate.

Tail Ended right before Lease end - Options

I have always purchased, not leased. It never occurred to me that an accident near the return date would cause such issues on a lease.

Lease Ending - Buy or Upgrade to 2025?

Response speed of the info system can be perceived as slow or fast depending upon the individual. I played golf yesterday. There was a foursome two groups in front of me that IMO was very, very slow (2.5 hour back nine) but I am sure that they thought they were playing at a proper speed. When...

Lease return excess wear & tear

He got the charge eliminated but NOT what he was seeking so I don't think one can call it a satisfactory resolution. He was looking for an acknowledgement that he never owed the charge as it was normal wear and tear and what he got was a "good will waiver".

    Lucid is a Lemon?

It has been months sine the OP posted and the OP has never returned nor responded with specifics about the experiences the OP allegedly encountered. I think this one belongs in the "drive by hit and run" category.

Distance adjustments using gap settings button

Out here the police generally give 10 miles above the speed limit before they start ticketing drivers. It is very common to see folks with a setting 12 miles above the speed limit to account for the errors deliberately built into the speedometer. Doing so one is still passed by many, many...

    Dreamdrive pro vs premium

Originally there was Dream Drive and Dream Drive Pro. The upgrade to Pro was expensive but regular DD did not include the 360 cameras which many considered essential and was normally available from Lucid's competitors. Lucid responded by creating Premium which added the cameras (and a few...

    Lucid partnership

I agree but, unfortunately, there are many states such as mine where the legislature hates mass transit. While a big SUV is not ideal as a taxi type vehicle, if a bunch of people in a city choose to use the service instead of owning and driving a personal car we will at least have taken many...

    Lucid is a Lemon?

There are many definitions of an automobile "lemon". The most important, because it has legal consequences, is the definition in a given state's lemon law statute (assuming there is one). The statutory definition may be different from the one we use in ordinary parlance. I did go through a...

    Lucid partnership

Europeans have been buying and using Mercedes E series as taxis for a long, long time. Mostly diesels. Just like Ford customizes some of its vehicles for law enforcement use, Mercedes has a taxi program.

    Lucid Lemon Law

One of the disadvantages of not having a dealer network (of course there are many advantages as well) is that there is no one with power to intervene on your behalf. I had a BMW PHEV 3 series and it had constant battery problems. I finally decided enough was enough and prepared a letter to BMW...

    Test Drive

I completely agree. I did think the Polestar 3 looked nice until I stepped into the showroom and looked inside. Entirely "minimalist". I am getting tired of companies marketing an allegedly luxury car and then cheap out by putting all the controls on the info screen. For example, if I am...

Lease return excess wear & tear

IMO if the loan was originated by B of A, then the terms of that lease contract would apply. If, on the other hand, it was originated by Lucid and assigned to B of A, then IMO this provision and the contract would both seems to apply as the third party contract buyer (B of A) would be bound to...
