    Next update?

Not quite sure what you’re asking. When you install an update, parts of the car reboot, yes.

    Lucid UX 3.0

That statement is true (and nothing new), but doesn't mean that Air won't be getting (some of? most of?) UX 3.0. It's a good thing the dev teams are separate, otherwise we wouldn't have been getting any updates for the past couple years. Hopefully at some point the Air team will be porting...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

At least for Air, KSA and EU each got their own limited run of DEs. I'd imagine the same here at some point.

    Software Wishlist for 2025

Am I the only one who holds the turn signal stalk while making a lane change? I've always done this in every car. I just stick out one finger on my left hand and hold the stalk in the "soft" position until I'm done. It boggles my mind watching people reach out with a whole hand to move the...

    Wiper speed

Meanwhile I have used the high speed once or twice in the past 2 years. 🤷‍♂️ Clearly more options would be good, but I also wonder if there's a difference between cars or just a difference between drivers.

    Ventilated Seats

Still working for me. Check with service? With them turned all the way up I can feel them with a hand. You should definitely be able to hear the fans if it's quiet around you. I'd say they are just to keep air moving under the surface though, not to blow air at you.

    Ventilated Seats

It's subtle, sure. It's not actually A/C in there, just fans. If you turn on the foot A/C the seat ventilation will pull up more cool air. The nice thing is that it completely removes the problems of scalding leather in the summer, and of sweaty thighs sticking to that leather.

    Are 21s really that bad?

No. They are low profile summer performance tires and they come with the normal pros and cons of low profile summer tires. They did have (it seems) a higher rate of developing bubbles at first, but a new version of the tire has been released since then (look for the LM2 label). If you're...

New (To us) 2023 Lucid Air - lots of random bugs.. typically?

Could be a loaner maybe? But Enterprise does have Lucids, it could have been one of theirs. Not sure why it would be returned so soon (or at all) in that case, but I have no idea how rental companies operate.

New (To us) 2023 Lucid Air - lots of random bugs.. typically?

    (1) Varies unfortunately. My experience isn't as bad as it sounds like yours is. Some people have no issues, some have worse(?) (2) No idea as I only have the one profile The rest... not normal at all. Only one person on here has reported their frunk has opened randomly as far as I'm aware. I...

The Press Embargo Has Been Lifted

I have the same cooler family (Dometic CFX3) and I run it in the trunk of my Air. The 35L is 15.67" wide, the 25L is 13.46" wide. Judging by https://lucidowners.com/threads/okay-i-still-choose-the-air-but….11924/page-7#post-263329 it'd be a tight fit for the 25L in the middle if possible.

    Interior swapping or dying

No. DE and GT have the same floor shape. I think you know you're exaggerating. The floor is a couple inches higher, the seat bottom is slightly more inclined to match. It's still a lot of room. I am slightly over 6ft and wouldn't complain about it at all, though I do appreciate the extra depth...

I'd like to think that will be sorted out by the time Gravities are delivering to more people, but in the meantime, Grizzl-E EVSEs are pretty highly regarded and they have a new 80A NACS one (Grizzl-E Cyber Ultimate 80A). If you can forgive them for calling it "Cyber" after the truck.

Inconsistent blinker is back with a vengeance!

You don't get either for free just by using the base Android Automotive. You'd think it would be easier to get Android Auto, but not really. Both Apple and Google provide an app the OEM can "just" install on Android Automotive. It's making them work with the hardware and getting them certified...

Inconsistent blinker is back with a vengeance!

Android Automotive OS is the operating system that runs on a lot of car infotainment systems including Lucid's and Volvo's. OEMs start with the common base and customize it.

Assuming it's the same, the Air's low-speed sound is definitely hovering spaceship, but I wouldn't call it loud. I can't hear it at all from the inside with the windows up, and from the outside I'd say it's just loud enough to notice from maybe 20ft away. I know what you're talking about, I can...

Charging now that it's no longer free. . .

You can do either. You can add a credit card for charging to your account at lucidmotors.com and plug-and-charge should work like it used to, just with a bill at the end. If you don't, or if you start your charge with a credit card or the EA app first, you'll skip the Lucid account. Lucid...

What’s this thing on top of the Air?

Yep, this. You'll see these on top of vehicles from numerous companies working on ADAS. They mount a big 360º LIDAR system on top of the car as a ground truth and record data from both that and their own sensors to take back to the development team for benchmarking/testing.

    ABRP

Enode is https://enode.com/ Connecting to Enode is a feature of ABRP Premium. If you sign into your ABRP Premium account, it gives you an option to connect live vehicle data via Enode. For what it's worth, I've reached out to ABRP offering to help them get live Lucid data directly to at least...

You're right, it is mostly positive, it just irks me that it only picks quotes out of a forum thread and drops them on a for-profit site. The few things they added are stating it's a DE (nope) and claiming it's a modular platform that'll probably be turned into a pickup (what?)
