Rather than drive a Prius I moved near a train station so my commute was a walk to/from the train. It's been 25 years since I've driven to get to a job.
I don't believe it, but it is pushing stock price today. The real issue is Lucid has not been forthcoming about the delays. Not that they have to reveal every problem but deliveries are late and the company is too silent...
Maybe I missed it but has Lucid promised future bi-directional charging with the Gravity. I did not see it on the web site (but I may be looking in the wrong places).
Two differences. Many owners will rarely take those vehicles on long trips. If they do range is rarely a concern. The choices of where to fuel are many and the complications with refueling are few.
Install a third party charger before taking delivery. The LCHCS is nothing special. Unless you are pinning hopes on V2G. Did they even mention V2G or V2L for Gravity? Do they even offer a LCHCS with NACS?
Yet other 80a chargers use chair lugs (mine non-Lucid charger supplied chair lugs with the charger and gave a McMaster-Carr item number for them). I assume yours was installed with the wrong size lug or more likely did not torque (either the lug to wire or wire to charger) them properly.
Something with the Toyota mats. I had it happen in a company owned Prius. Mats permanently took the shape of the floor but were able to easily slide around. When they slid back the part that was bent up by the firewall easily trapped the accelerator.
When I accelerated to merge onto the NJ...
Well Lucid has provided a solution (native navagation) you just choose not to use it. It's rare I need to know range. When I do I make use of navigation. Otherwise I just drive.
At some point EV adoption will make it impossible to waive the occupancy requirements for EVs to use HOV lanes. AZ may not be there yet but CA might be.
If you believe it's a good short then why don't you sell your shares. One of the biggest investor mistakes is holding on to a lower waiting to be even.
I see they are in the program for the NY Auto Show (next month). They have not displayed there before. The real question is do they just bring an Air or will a production Gravity be at the show?
