    Behavior of door locks question

I've noticed somethig similar with my fob. I have passive unlock turned off. Sometimes pushing front or rear driver side handles works, other times it does not. I can see the yellow light blink when its going to work. When the driver side fails, I have better luck with the passenger side...

    Mobile key question

The contract and and seeming gag oder must come from the key manufacturer Pektron. I wrote to them once, but got no answer. A group effort might help.

    OTA Update 2.7.0

I think you may be correct. But that then suggests that there may be a muzzling clause in the contract. As I said before, I have found ways around the issue, in order to enjoy this great car, but it refelects poorly when others see it.

    OTA Update 2.7.0

I know that part. But why wouldnt they try to work a fix with the vendor that might be offered as an extra cost item. e.g. just one simple example: Turn in your key and we will give you one with a real button or buttons and a larger battery. In other words, show that you are working within the...

    OTA Update 2.7.0

Good philosophy. I use a combination of 'work around +live with it' to enjoy the car. However, the Silence of Lucid is what is amazing. Do you think they are bound by a silence clause in their contract?

    OTA Update 2.7.0

I think the door handles and key fob have a sensor. Whenever you want to show off the car, or the weather is bad, they fail. Overall probablity of getting in the car on one try = 50%. On 2-3 tries = 100%.

    OTA Update 2.7.0

I do not use the ap. I use the FOB with PU off

    OTA Update 2.7.0

The Fob works poorly also. .....the door unlock thing needs to be addressed, or at least a statement from Lucid.. REPEAT ..or at least a statement from Lucid with a plan..

Please, would you jump in with my baggage?

I got my 2025 PURE ine in Nov. 2024, and like it more every month I have it. It is fun to drive, but does take some getting used to. (I came from a Clarity PHEV.) For example, when I first got it, I hated the regeneration, and kept it as low as possible. Now I leave it on high 100% of the time...

    Insurance

I did try Costco, but after a lot of forms heard that their Co. (Connicticut Gen. ) does not cover in South Carolina.

    Insurance

I'm older than you and use PURE INS, along with homeowners. The PURE AIR costs $1374/year.

    New Lucid Air Pure

I took the 110/220 plug in version and only use it 100% on 110v. It charges at about 1 KW, so easily tops off my 100-200 miles per week of driving.

    New Lucid Air Pure

Congratulations! Every day that I drive it, I love it more, even with the buggy key-fob/locks. A.A. is working fine and just put another cherry on the cake. We cannot lease here in SC, so I missed the rebate. I came from a Honda Clarity PHEV.

    OTA Update 2.7.0

I love it! But when I have time I must check about the volume limiter in Android 15. You have to get to Developer Options (7 clicks on software version on phone) to turn it off.

    OTA Update 2.7.0

It seems to be fussy about which aps to put into AA. Waze and VLC appeared just fine automatically. Music Player by Inshot did not appear on the list, even with developer options on,. I have an email in to the developer. Actually, VLC is good, so I cant really complain. Just curious how you...

    RESOLVED Android Auto Thursday

Thanks. The car was in the Faraday garage most of the day, so the update got through the 1 bar AT&T signal. Sirius sometimes does not.

Doors re-locking before I get to the driver’s door

Thanks all. That is one less worry.

    RESOLVED Android Auto Thursday

Just got it here. Loaded in about 40 minutes through 1 bar AT&T signal (no wi-fi) in my Faraday Cage (metal lath under stucco) garage. No reboot needed. Waze works, although my favorite MP3 player on my phone is not visible. VLC does work well, however. More tomorrow. Phone is Samsung S24 FE...
