Auto Heated Seats & Steering Wheel?

Heads-up! It's been below zero here in Colorado the last few days and.. the heated seats actually turned on by themselves! Interior temperature was around 32 deg. F. Inside my "carriage house" (ahem, garage) it was about 30 deg. F. It went to the 2nd level setting. The heated steering wheel...

Lucid CEO teases mid-size in development

Sorry, I was catching-up. ;p Reading everyone's stuff. Forgot to look at the dates! Bad form. I hope the Gravity is profitable for Lucid!

Lucid CEO teases mid-size in development

He shouldn't be. I find his cars to be made of similar "Chinesium". I went to the Colorado Springs Tesla dealership, trying to make a decision between a Plaid or a Lucid Dream-P and when I saw all their Tesla cars in their lot, I asked if those (literally hundreds) were for sale. Salesman...

    RESOLVED Android Auto Thursday

You're right! I can run Waze and an embedded Waze-accepted music streaming service into the Bluetooth Audio of the Lucid's input wirelessly by selecting the Bluetooth audio source just fine. Tidal does not stream as Dolby Atmos, however, but I find Tidal, despite its praises of fidelity in all...

    RESOLVED Android Auto Thursday

SCal_Air has a good point. There are some aftermarket boxes to get that work splendidly. I might spring for one, actually.

    RESOLVED Android Auto Thursday

I've noticed the Beta version of Android Auto (13.5) now includes motorcycles that can utilize it (such as the CanAm Spyder RT) and the Lucid Air; and some people are getting beta-test versions as we speak. I believe it's incorporating some J1772 Lucid-friendly charge stations for long-distance...

    Reprint Monroney Label?

I just like to keep them and frame them. I'm working with Lucid Parts Dept. to see if it's viable; I suspect not. Ah well. I would buy a different VIN Dream Performance Monroney Label from a forum member if they still have theirs but don't want it, that would suffice. I'm just a bit of a...

    RESOLVED Android Auto Thursday

Ah, I see. Strange that the Bluetooth handshake doesn't work for the watches.

    RESOLVED Android Auto Thursday

I noticed the my Pixel watch cannot have the Lucid App (but the Apple Watch can). Do you think when Android Auto comes out, giving advanced functionality to the remaining 72% of the world's population, that the Pixel Watch Mobile device will have the function as well? I cannot use my handy...

    Winter Tires/Wheels w/ TPMS

Newfies are a breed of their own, for sure. Trailer Park Boys may be a fine example. Hobo with a Shotgun was filmed in Halifax. I bet Quint from Jaws prefered the bars there. If I remember correctly, Screech is rum with sea-water because the rum-runners from Jamaica would drink half of it...

    Winter Tires/Wheels w/ TPMS

I spent a few years in at the Billy Bishop Building at CFB Winnipeg for NORAD. Getting screeched-in to Stompin' Tom Connors' music with a slicker and kissing a cod is.. an experience. They were lacking the props but made up their own Newfie certificate for me.

    Winter Tires/Wheels w/ TPMS

Well, it's my local Colorado "shade tree" tire shop that's been in business for like 45 years. On a more sour note, I still haven't been able to get any Lucid service to do anything yet. I did get a hold of one guy in Seattle who essentially told me to "do it myself".. so I did. Your username...

    Winter Tires/Wheels w/ TPMS

I had them installed today from the DE 21". Car recognized them after driving 1 mile. I had selected 19" "All Season" (there was no winter option) after installation and before heading-out. Easy-peasy, lemon-squeezy. My tire place charged me $40 for the swap and balance.

    Next update?

Lucid seems to have a lot more "love" in what they're doing, at least for now (this generation). You don't see that too often, especially after the primary bunch head-off and retire and the new recruits come in and it's a big money-game. It has to be a money game, sure, but there's a lot more...

    Next update?

72% of the world's population uses Android phones. Some Android Auto functionality would be peachy.

SOLD Winter Wheels and Tires for Sale

I already got dibs and picking them up tomorrow (fingers crossed). If it falls-through, I'll let everyone know to scramble for 'em. ;p

Tired of lack of Android support

I've been using the Pixel 9 Pro XL mobile-key and App functions without any issues. I looked at the "Top 10" list of the OTA updates and somehow Android Auto did not make the cut. I find this strange when the market share of Android phones is 71.8% versus Apple is 17.4% (Apple is a...

    Winter Tires/Wheels w/ TPMS

Yeah, I think you're right. No option. Not sure if it pops-up when new tires are installed or not. I spoke to one of the techs and they said to keep the original tires far enough away from the car when you put the new ones on and it should calibrate the TPMS automatically after you select...

    Lloyd's Mats question

I have an Air DP and was wondering if the Air Touring Lloyd's Mats would fit properly? They seem to look correct. I know the Air Touring has a different rear-seat footwell area; not sure if the dimensions are different though; perhaps. Lloyd's does not offer any other size except for the Touring.

    Reprint Monroney Label?

Wondering if there's any legitimate sites that reprint the Monroney Label. I like to laminate them, but my 2nd-hand came with nothing, just the charging cable.
