Great to hear. In the future, keep an eye on the door handles. If they remain open, that's a very good indication that the doors aren't locked. I no longer check this when I walk away, but I did for the first ~25 times when I first took ownership of the vehicle.

Absolutely not the case. The mirrors fold when the doors lock. My guess is that your car isn't locking when you walk away, check your settings for THAT instead, if one exists.
