Trade ya for your GT

My favorite weekend day trip when I lived in Chicago is up and down LSD and following the Lake Michigan Circle Tour signs up to Sheridan and beyond ;) If you take your GT through downtown, Im sure everyone will gawk at ya. Cant wait to take my GT through the Washington mountains.

There’s no definitive timeline, the best info we have is what others post here. 2-4 weeks seems to be the avg. Leaning toward 2 weeks lately, some even a few days.

Does the Air have a noise maker? I thought it was regulation required but I can’t find any audio of it. Can someone post the sound? :)

The RV cant be changed by either party after signing and it's the price you have the right to purchase it at the end of the term. You can also prepay all outstanding lease payments + residual to purchase the car at any time. Dealers typically don't negotiate the RV and I doubt Lucid would. But...

Right. People typically want a high residual value so that the delta between MSRP and RV is smaller, therefore smaller lease payments. A low RV is good if you intend on buying at the end of the term, but you might as well finance if that's the goal. But at least this way you retain the option...

That's the "residual value". There is no premium, the only catch is you don't own the vehicle and either turn it in or purchase it for that residual value. A lease payment is the MSRP minus the Residual Value at the end of the lease term, divided by the # of months leased, plus interest. RV is...

Im leaning toward lease as well, but the residual values are not looking great.. causing a heavy lease payment. I had another thread with what I calculated as an RV Lucid Financing Calculator - WTH are these Leasing quotes?

The only concern with prepaying a lease is that if the car is ever a total loss, you likely would not get any refund. Instead, you could put the money in a 2% or 3% liquid bank account and negate that much interest.

The 12v battery is there to provide the proper voltage for the onboard/interior electronics. When all goes right, the high-voltage battery maintains the 12v battery on most EV's (including Lucid)

IMO it was totally reasonable to be worried about Silver deliveries. Silver VINs and deliveries started to seem hopeless for 2022. Stellar White is much nicer on the Lucid anyway ;)
